What are the prices of a pack of cigarettes in your area (including tax)???

The cigarettes were like $4.75 including tax yesterday but now they are near $6.00 today

I don't smoke personally, but I believe packs of cigarettes are, with tax here, roughly around $10 CDN on average from what I've seen.

It does vary from shop to shop and from brand to brand here. Some packs are cheap as $7 and some are about $12.

20 Marlboro Lights in London can be anything from £5.40 - £6.50, depending on where you are. Around the shittty part of London I live in, they're about £5.50, but I bought a pack from Shaftesbury Avenue (very central London) yesterday and they were nearer the £6.50 mark.

Some of the shops round here get cheap foriegn ones in though, and sell them for £3.00, but it's kept very hush hush, due the possible illegal-ness of it.

I get them for free, but since I don't smoke I usually just pass them on to the local orphans.

Yes, it´s ridiculous. Here, in Sweden, a pack of Prince is almost 50SEK(5£) and a snuffbox the same. When is it enough? They raise the taxes to stop people from using tobacco when all it does is increase smuggle. Stupid. Why don´t I quit?

At least the government earns some more money to heal those who decide to stop when it's too late - I personally think they should use EXCLUSIVELY the tax money coming from cigarettes. I don't think it's fair that I have to pay to heal those who got ill because of their own (stupid) choice AND also damage MY lungs with their smoke.

It's been a long time, but an eighth, which I think is about 3.5g is £20.

You´re absolutly right. Rather stick to my precious snuff and quit smoking. There, it´s final! This is my final pack.
