Most of these Freddie fans refuse to buy the album because they are hardheaded and aren't giving it a chance. That's why sales aren't the best. Plus, the lame promotion. I only found out Q+PR happened when I check wikipedia

The album is ok...nothing to write home about! Thats just my humble opinion! [/img]
to lalaalalaa : I did give it many listens ...only to become more and more dissapointed with this "dead bird" that is the TCR-nightmare [/img] so, I gave up

I get the impression that just because May and Rogers teamed up for a last chance at fame and fortune and even if they had Whitney Houston as lead singer or any singer in Paul Rodgers position..its supposed to be an instantaneous, likable, just because Queen is in the title, all fans must love album???
Of course you just want us all to naturally agree with you...just wanted you to know that the world doesn't work that way!
It's not a matter of being or not a "Freddie fan", at least for me.
In the end, two or three songs from TCR ended up in my ipod but definitely the album as a whole hasn't rocked my world nor this new version of Queen. I liked Queen for what it was once. I haven't gave Brian or Roger a blank check so I don't feel obliged to like and praise everything they do (in the same way that I didn't like Mr Bad Guy or wouldn't feel terrified about a hypothetical solo album with John as a singer).

Yes it does get better with age - it rots and disappears.
