Let me try to expand a bit further for multi-genres:

ROCK:  Michael Bolton is Gay.

TECHNO POP:  Erasure is gay.

COUNTRY:  Pretty much everything after 1994, gay.

ADULT CONTEMPORY:  Celine Dion is gay

JAZZ:  Kenny G is gay

RAP:  Vanilla Ice is gay.   (Also, see "Hammer")

Anyone adding these to their lists will be penalized 15 yards AND a loss of down.  Multiple violations would require an ejection.

Hope this helps and doesn't offend.  It wasn't intended to.

Waaaaar of the Worlds.  I'm only saying it again later because I didn't want people thinking it was a double post.

Nice track - but a masterpiece... I used to love it, but these days I find it to be just a lot of noise with the synth horns or something. Which it didn't have that 80's hardrock feeling to it - but that it had a feel similar to Business - which IMO is a much better track :)

I agree, ressurrection hasn't aged well.

Resurrection is very much 'of it's time' but if you dusted it off and re-recorded it, the song would stand up fine.  And it'd be a masterpiece.  !!!

But, Sir GH redeemed the thread nicely.  Olias.  Nice.

Ha ha... but of course!  Jon Anderson's first solo album is arguably the best piece of Yes-related music after 1975.
Camel - Mirage
Chicago - II
Max Webster - A Million Vacations
Richard Wright - Wet Dream
As much as I realize these things all come down to taste, I recommend these 4 records to anyone who like anything remotely rock-related.  Max Webster, in particular, are Canada's so-called best kept secret.  They only did five records, but they were like a more accessible version of Frank Zappa - great songs with all the musicianship and quirkiness.  They and Be Bop Deluxe are the two most underrated rock bands ever in my books.

The Richard Wright album simply makes you realize how much of the Floyd sound was his doing.  It's a horrible shame that this record fell through the cracks.

Bohemian Rhapsody
White Queen
God Only Knows
The Show Must Go On

Songs you can here were carefully composed, and not just happened in a moment where someone would sit down with a guitar or a piano and after a few minutes there was a new song.
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)

LOL !  So...you don't like Queen then huh ?  haha just kidding.

Actually, now that I've written that list, and wasted an hour of my life, I hate Queen.  Just kidding, haha.  It was nice to list their songs and become more aware of just how many songs are in their catalogue.  I mean, that's a shit load of music for one band!  And it's not even complete!
