Well, I like to give friends & family presents I know THEY like, not something I like. That's pretty selfish. BTW, that's more or less the attitude from QPL these days.

Personally I became a fan of Otis Redding, Jeff Buckley and Jimi Hendrix after being given cds as gifts by three friends, so despite my gratitude for being introduced to something I now totally appreciate, my friends were in fact just being selfish.

Man, yet another boring realease from QP. Starting to get bored....
Anyway, i think Erin`s addon to the packshot was quite neat. I think adding the crest made a huge positive effect to the visual aspect.

Given the choosen picture (by staff, JB, Brain or poor Rog') I would have done the artwork this way :

I actually have to say, I think Queen Rocks Montreal is one of the best covers the ever had!? Why does everyone seem to not like it????
I also thought C-Lebrity and Cosmos Rocks where looking great (specially on vinyl)
The only thing which I have to agree is, that the Live in Ukraine cover looks kind of.... well.... weird;)

An improvement.  The monkey that's been designing covers for Queen since Freddie died learned how to use the gradient filter in Photoshop now.  Keep rockin!

When asked about the limited 2nd disc idea with B-sides, etc,  Galileo at the QOL forum has just announced that "there is a limited edition product with this release...all will be revealed!"

No idea. If we all make a concerted effort to not reply to his posts, he'll fairly obviously either have to keep posting himself over and over and get kicked or he'll fade away.

Or, if he reads this, take my advice and post constructive threads to discuss Queen-related topics.

Not wanting to add more oil to the fire, but I am just too afraid the limited edition release will either contain:
- a dvd with all the videos (nicely remastered in 4.1 or 5.1, so all post-Greatest-Video-Hits-2 can be recycled when the time comes to finally release Greatest Video Hits 3, or
- a karaoke-cd of all their hits (nicely ripped from the previous karaoke releases).

Anyone else dare to make a guess?
