first of my flu jabs later today and i am sooooo not looking forward to it :-[
the 'better half' had hers done last week and was promptly sick as a pig over the weekend and i dont want a repeat of that as ive got PARTIIIEEEES galore coming up :-D

My way of making time go faster is to take the period of time that is bugging me (in your case, 6 weeks), reverse it, and focus on the fact that 6 weeks ago doesn't actually feel like it was all that long ago.

'she who must be obeyed' is up to no good with the impending doom of my 40th.
she let slip last night that she has ordered a 'big cake' for the 'annual observance of my magnificent greatness'.this implies that there will be lots of people to help eat it which is news to me as i thought i was going to be getting away from it all with just me and her and a 'do not disturb' sign on the door handle.
i am now on red alert for any other slip ups of information
