I know John and roger didn't like Jazz, but how about freddie or brian?...That album has a lot of kick ass tunes,  yea the roger songs arn't very good, but the rest is awsome.

Great tunes.  Terrible production.

I'm not really sure about how each member felt about the album.

It's all about order of tracks. Roy and boys didn't get that puzzle right.

I agree, I would also dump Fun It and while I love More of That Jazz I'd remove the section that contains excerpts of other songs.  Also I love the version of Don't Stop Me Now that blends into Jealousy (not sure if that is real but it works really well)
Don't shun it!

I like it, I think the guitar riffs are great. But the lyrics are very weak, and the part with little segments of every song of the album is not cool at all.

Sums it up really, I hate the way the album sounds. Its very 'thin'. The mash up of songs on 'More of That Jazz' is a desperate low point and for some reason Roger thought his kit should sound like he was in a reggae band for this album. The lyrics for 'In Only Seven Days' sound like some 15 year old kid writing a poem for a girl he fancies. 40% killer..... 60% filler. Bookended by probably Queens worst 2 songs. Certainly up to that point anyway.

Even roger thought his songs on Jazz wern't very good.....I agree that the album had killer tunes with weak production... a shame because roger has some killer drum work in there....

Totally agree.  Although this album was really the beginning of the end of great music by Queen.

I'm on the fence about this album. It's very eclectic for sure. I've always thought one of their most underrated songs was "If You Can't Beat em Join em"....great upbeat song. The heavy rocker's on it "Let Me Entertain You, Fat Bottom Girls, and Dead on Time" are all good, but this album falls off pretty bad with the 2 duds Roger does and the sappy ass "Dreamer's Ball" & "Jealousy"...."In Only Seven Days" was about the only lite selection I can stomach on this album. So in closing its basically an album that has some very good gems on it surrounded by filler...I too agree they just didn't get the track sequence right either for this album.

JAZZ is still one of my favourite albums. Not as good as SHA or ANATO but somewhere close to Top 5.There's not a single song on it that I don't like.

To be honest, there isn't a single song I don't like until HOT SPACE and that song is BODY LANGUAGE (excluding the Flash Gordon Soundtrack). From there on it all went downhill for me.
Sorry but Dreamer's Ball & Jealousy straight up suck. You might like music that lulls you to sleep but not I...

I like all styles of music....I'm not a closed mind rock fan......If you don't like those songs that's fine, but you're missing out on some great vocals and guitar playing.  I guess you don't like the album a day at the races.....since most of that album is ballads.  go listen to some boring straight foward rock band like ACDC or motley crew.....this site is for people who enjoy real music.
