Yup - I've "applied" twice and been ignored. Looks like they are doing a server move in a few weeks and everyone is going to have to reregister. I plan on applying a third time to determine if they are just completely incompetent or if I've done something to seriously piss off the powers that be over there!

As expected, you guys completely sidestep the issue Sir GH rightfully brought up (which was the fact you guys fucking BITCH to no end about everything, no matter what it is!) and basically accuse myself and few others of having a rose-tinted agenda.
Reality check btw: things aren't too much different over at QOL last I checked - people bitch quite a bit over there too, however at least thankfully they actually have mods to step in when things may get very out of hand. Just sayin'

Btw to add my 2 cents to the BM/KE EPK....sounds pretty interesting, I like the song that opens and closes the EPK video, sounds like a great album opener, and the cover tune "I Love It When You Call."
However, does anyone else get the feeling this is going to turn out sounding like a Kerry Ellis/Red Special duet album?? (I think Brian needs to tone down the over-guitar playing a tad...)

My email inquiries were returned as being undeliverable too. This was months ago. I decided they could go fuck themselves.

There was nothing 'rightfully' about it. It was actually pretty rude. Three people had expressed an opinion at that point. One of them was me, and I can certainly be pleased in all manner of ways by Queen folk and their offerings (see my nic). The second one was a brand new poster who hasn't had an opportunity in a week to do anything to no end, and the third was Vali. Got a problem with Vali? PM her/him (though I don't know what you'd say based on that perfectly acceptable post) rather than dismissing the thoughts of three people in one irritating fell swoop.

I don't think I'm going to bother either. I applied once, was ignored for weeks, sent mail to the admin, and was ignored for more weeks. Over this period I kept trying to log in with the nic I applied with and it kept saying it wasn't yet approved, until one day it just just said it was outright invalid. So, I reapplied with the same nic but accidently clicked that I was under 13 or whatever and I was approved right away but my parents had to mail or fax in a permission thing. LOL So I emailed the admin about my mistake, followed by more ignoring, followed by me looking for mods to email, followed by dumb and rather curt advice that I should just apply again from a mod. Yeah. Not so much. I don't have time for two forums on this subject anyway.

His point, that some people will complain about everything, doesn't need to be replied to as it's 100% cporrect. Your point is different, which you don't seem to realise, that everyone here bitches about everything. That is so obviously wrong that you don't deserve a reasoned reply. (The irony of course is that you are the one bitching about everybody. Maybe as well as repeating yourself again, you can quote yourself as evidence).

I think it's really hard to do a protest song well, and even harder inside events like 46664. Somebody or other once referred to it as 'the Bono-isation of protest'. Safe, diluted, and significantly less likely to result in meaningful individual action relative to traditional grass roots movements.
