andreas mercury is so dim, if he were a star, it would take his light 2000 years to reach the Earth.

even to my limited astronomy knowledge the dimness of the star doesn't even relate too much to the time it takes for the light to travel ...... gravity and in the interstellar medium might be factors but the brightness of a star is unrelated to this.  poor joke but it might make stupid people laugh so well done I know queenzone might like it

I like Yara, and I miss her from here.  She's intelligent, sensitive, polite even when she's being argued with or attacked, and she is nice to everyone, all the time.  Any time i posted in any of her threads she replied to my post, i think she did to most everyone in threads she started.  She seems like a genuinely nice, sweet and lovely person.  Yes, sometimes her posts were long, but they were also usually well worth reading, as she knows what she's talking about (and that is not a slight on anyone else).  I really dont see why people are trashing her in this thread... andreas you refered to her as a bitch... she is one of the least bitchy people i have come accross in any discussion group anywhere.  I have ONCE, i think, seen her respond in a way that was not 100% respectful and polite, and that time, as far as i remember, she was responding to a fairly horrific post, plus her response was not even half as strong as a lot of what is in this thread. 
And i agree  with whoever it was that said it, why the heck are we now trashing ppl in threads?  She'll read this, and i know i'd be hurt if i saw myself discussed this way on QZ.  I know its 'just' the net and all, but Yara put a lot of herself into her posts, so a personal attack is going to hurt her.  And like someone else said, she has done a lot for QZ as far as uploading stuff, and thinking through her responses to things. 
And just to be clear, what i wrote is what i think, i did not write it simply because yara might read it lol.  I genuinely like the girl, as can be seen if anyone wants to stalk through my posts to her over the last year.  :P

Oh, Yara, Yara... The main thing I remember about her is that she claimed to be the offspring of a German father and a Ukrainian mother, she was Jewish, born on Magrathea, raised in France and moved around Europe, now living in Brazil age eighteen. It sounded bizarre to me for some reason. I know it's feasible, but was still strange. She never showed anyone a picture of herself and once described her nose as huge, and she had large, crooked buck teeth. Her posts sent me scrolling for days on end.

ahah........ ok ok i will to admit that i cant really compete to you in your language, i thought the front cover words would be to be some sort of analogie as though you are a book with a mislead cover but ok, i lose this round.   i have to no real personal problems with you or most users in this forums I just don't see how to it's all such serious business for you guys ......
