Except you posted this comment (and the one above this)! Here's a piece of advice; if you post another comment to me (or two) you aren't moving on.

I can see this thread has turned into a circus with AM in the middle of it.

So, to summarize, yes, we remember Yara, and no, we don't think she was nearly as obnoxious as you did.
Now, anyone read any good books lately?

i have just started to read tale of two cities though it is in slow going ... i would like to improve my english and i know to it's probably not a good idea to post on this forum until i have fully worked on it because all i hear is "learn english" even though it is not the only language on earth and i see skip making their errors frequently.

'Needful Things' by Stephen King ... well actually I'm still reading it. Jessica posted it on eBay, and I didn't even know we had it, so I told her take it off, since I love the film so much.

Well then, I guess it's my turn. You can't exactly call it *good*, but it's interesting - "Coronation Commentary" by Geoffrey Dennis (1937). It was meant to be a commemorative book about the coronation of Edward VIII in England, but while it was being written, that king was forced to abdicate, meaning the book suddenly had to go off in a different direction. It's a rather chauvinistic read, but an interesting portrayal of interbellum British royalism.

Don't worry about other people's linguistic problems, if we want to tell Skip to "learn English" then we will do so. Ironically speaking though, I find his English comprehensibly better than yours, so get started hitting the books young boy and DO come back when you feel confident enough to try your "improved" English skills on us :-)

Congratulations, sir. You have just redeemed your honour with this wit.
