You have your head up your ass 24/7.
Take the shit out of your ears.

"Revenge", "Destroyer", "Creatures Of The Night", "Alive"

Heavier than anything Queen ever released.

Don't really give a hoot what he looked like but the music was certainly better in the 70s. He was more ambitious, and more willing to take risks with Queen stuff. However, Barcelona was new and interesting, so who knows what direction his solo career would've gone. Probably more interesting that Brian's forthcoming concept album about a world ruled by badgers ...

Let's not get into this Queen vs kiss bullshit.  not worth arguing.
I agree with holly about barcelona....easily freddie's best stuff since his heyday of the 70's.  Of course the album isn't for everyone....some might find cabelle's voice a bit much,  but for what it's worth Even queen 2 isn't for everyone.  Doesn't mean it's not amazing.   No question if freddie lived longer we would have seen more great albums like barcelona..albums that no one else could have made.  Of course the ham couldn't resist another dance album that would have made his fans cringe like mr. bad guy.

Heavier does not mean better.

I definitely agree that musically he was better in the 70's than the 90's (lookswise, probably the 70's as well), but he still had some great moments in the 80's. Even on AKOM, IMO Queen's weakest album, he contributed arguably one of Queen's best hard rock songs in Princes of the Universe, and he was great on several other songs such as PISCTP, FWBF and WWTLF.

Ha! Good one. :D

At least I didn't pay money to go see a band that I dislike.

That would make you a dumb fuck.

Any band who released an lp called "Hot Space"
could never be considered "the NO. 1 BEST".

All great bands have a weak album or two. Nothing wrong with that.
I always knew I was a star And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me-Freddie Mercury
