Wonky Corner starting to come out of its Winter doldrums and with seeds planted hopefully this year will see a bumper crop.
gonna try and grow pumpkins this year,should be interesting to see what size they grow to :-p

In the newspapers today, there was a article about young suicides accompanied by a cartoon from a famous taiwanese cartoonist, chu teh-yung, to discourage people from doing it.  The cartoons depict a lady jumping down from a building and the captions for the respective pictures were as follows:

1.  Jumping from the 11th floor....
2.  On the 10th floor, I see the loving couple from that floor fighting with each other
3.  On the 9th floor, I see Peter, who is usually strong, weeping in secret
4.  On the 8th floor, I see Ms Y finding her fiance in bed with with her good friend
5.  On the 7th floor, I see Dan Dan taking anti-depressants
6.  On the 6th floor, I see unemployed Ah Xin going through seven papers a day looking for a job
7.  On the 5th floor, I see reverend teacher Wang wearing his wife's undies
8.  On the 4th floor, I see Rose in another break up
9.  On the 3rd floor, I see Uncle Y yearning for visitors daily
10. On the 2nd floor, I see Lily looking at a photo of her husband who vanished soon after their marriage
11. Before I jumped, I thought I was the unluckiest person in the world
12. Now I realise everyone has problems that others don't know about
13. After seeing them I realise that I was actually doing okay
14. All the people I saw are now looking at me
15. And perhaps after observing me, they will think that they are okay after all.

personally,im loving the latest [and last] series of The Tudors,nothing like nubile young lady flesh to warm the cockles of the heart and a few beheadings dont go a miss either ;-p

The nerves are kicking in -- i'm teaching my first class tomorrow!!!  First time i've ever taught adults!  So scared, and excited!
