There have been many alternative clips of promo films over the years...early versions like Innuendo and better than officially available clips like the TOTP's version We Are The Champions.

Three UNRELEASED clips for starters:

We are the champions - TOTP's 1977
Bicycle Race - Original rejected version (some of this was later used to create a new video on video hits 1)
The Miracle - Alternative cut (The chart show)

This is all very true.  But what I want to know is, are you making a statement or are you asking a question?

Other Alternative and unreleased clips:

2 x Seven Seas Of Rhye (TOTP)
Killer Queen (Dutch TV)
Bohemian Rhapsody (TOTP)
Bicycle Race ("Cocaine" version)
Crazy Little Thing Called Love (BBC Version)
Another One Bites The Dust (Different Scenes, Shortened Version)
At least 3 X Different Innuendo Versions
At least 2 X A Winter's Tale Versions

Just from the top of my head - there are many more...

Asking for as many as clips as can be remembered!!!

Don't forget Days of Our Lives with/without the animation.
Depending on how picky you are, there are different versions of Somebody to Love from the Tribute Concert.
Wasn't there an original "darker" version of the Keep Yourself Alive video?

I consider there to be FOUR different versions of "Keep Yourself Alive"!!!   FIrst the one with them wearing light color clothes on a light colored set, then one where they are wearing dark clothes on a darker set where I think they filmed the clip for "Liar", the one that shows clips from the early 20th Century, and then the one that shows clips from all three that is on the music home video VHS video tape for the Hollywood Records compilation "Classic Queen".

As for "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" I consider there to be FOUR versions.    There's the regular one with Freddie being seen at the end, the one with Roger drumming at the end (I don't know if there are any other edits), the animated one that is on the music home video VHS video tape for the Hollywood Records compilation "Classic Queen", and then there is one that was clips of the black and white performance that at some points got a "goldish" shade to it and showed cilps from throughout their career.

I think there are a couple of "A Kind Of Magic" with one showing clips from the film Highlander or is that "One Vision" showing some clips from "Iron Eagle"?    Isn't there a version of "The Miracle" with just the children?    I can't remember and don't have "Greatest Video Hits 2" yet...

"Under Pressure" has two video clips showing different clips of film.    Both are good but I definitely like one of them over the other.

"Good Old Fashion Lover Boy" is another...

"Killer Queen" is another with the third being on "Greatest Flix I".

I believe that "Hammer To Fall" has a couple of versions of the same performance if I am correct as well.

Doesn't "No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)" have a couple of different edits as well?

I think I have heard that there are a couple of different edits of "The Show Must Go On"...I think.

This is not taking into account all of the clips made for the music home video compilation "Queen Rocks".   (I've never seen it before.)     But apparently those basically all suck and are just clips of them throughout their career from other short promotional films (music videos).

Even though it's not always technically accurate, having grown up in the '80s, I just call any such footage synched to its song a "music video." It seems so quaint to call them anything else, like "promo films," "clips," or what-have-you.

I know it's semantics either way, as not every "video" was shot on video and not ever "film" was shot on film, I just think it's interesting generational nomenclature, similar to how the generation older than me will call a record an "album" (rather than "LP"). For me, the album is the collection or group of songs, whereas LP, cassette, MP3, 7" single, etc., is the medium its presented on.

On Youtube you can find almost all the videos....I found what I believe is the real You Don't Fool Me Dancing Divaz video...

Actually the term "l.p." is far more logical because it explains how many songs are the release more or less (as affer to an "e.p." or "single") and more or less tells the running time.

Also it actually is important to call "music videos" "short promotional films" as that is more acurate than "music video" because there is another commerical product called the "music home video". So it helps distinguish what these two things are more exactly. If someone says Queen are releasing a video next week you don't know if they mean a "short promotional film" or "music home video" which could be d.v.d, v.hs., a compilation, a concert, a documentary, or long film (and all of the possibilities with that).
