Finally they produce something worth buying... though I hope this isn't the "big" concert release they were talking about.
It's late, but it's time to set me free It's late, yes I know but there's no way it has to be Too late, so let the fire take our bodies this night So late, so let the waters take our guilt in the t

Excuse me, I correctly understand that in 2003 was released 12 july gig and only piece from 11 july in bonus disc with other content  and now it is time for release full concert  from 11 july?

Great news!! This get's me going.

But.... ha ha ha.

- A bit simple DVDcover. They had no other picture from Wembley.????  A bit poor.
- In various previous post, way back, I said they had much more of the Friday Night. Qp let the people think by adding the message that the friday night was only filmed as a rehearsal for the crew there were only a few songs filmed. Now there we have it.
- There is plenty of rehearsal footage available. Mostly TV shows and news reports. This is nice footage however. I hope they used some of that and not the same reahearsal footage that was found in a shoe box in the back of a car.
You made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly!

Worth buying ....
This is another joke? This is how it was supposed to be released back in 2003.
To me now  this release is nothing more but a mere correction of a mistake made 8 years ago
by not putting out both concerts in complete form back then. It was a nice teaser tho

Ok, but now its 2011 and all they do is give us another Wembley '86 that comes with
yet another Wembley re-release. I do understand that this  performance  might be a
little bit better than the second night, but we have seen almost half of it already : /
And we all have seen Wembley a zillion times before...

Again its just one of those releases that doesnt cost em ANY effort at all! its a product
to them.  With a some lame excuse for it. Hyde Park happened 35 years ago too ...
That release will without a doubt sell very well to both fans and everybody else, no ?

now Im even more sad ... they wont release anything thats older than 1981 and needs fixing.
the less effort or creativity or time they put into these releases, the more money they seem
make ... and its likely QPL will continue releasing such products. oh and how dissapointed
I am with no blu-ray, wich I wouldve bought...

Hmm, if soon was write complete concert plus bonus footage 2 dvd set but now write( see picture) both legendary nights with previously undeen bonus features 2 dvd set, ambiguous understanding written on the packaging of a new of the future release, can be perceived as on the second disc will be a full concert on July 11.

I really don t understand u guys, or most of u, why to complain again?

We we got all Friday Concert on video...unseen for 3/4 of the songs!

We write every time that they never release something new....and now..we complain abut the "poor cover", this, that..etc..etc...

I hope this release doesn't have that compression plaguing the video like the 2003 release did.

Omg ok it will be nice to see the first night. But come on Brian, Roger,John...Please sort this out for us fans. You know we all will spend money on these releases. But cant we just spend our money on stuff we really want.. The 2 disk remasters>>>>£200+. Wembley DVD>>>£20. Queen Forever>>>£20. The Freddie movie>>£30. Queen+M.Jackson>>>£10. Come on id rather pay £300 for stuff i want. Lets just say £500 this year before they even decided to do a Gig. Queen(record company) will be million, billionaires>     I need a waltz.

Well I must say I'm very pleasantly surprised. Although I've never been a massive fan of Wembley, for me this may now be the most interesting Queen product in 20 years.
Restored picture, new stereo and 5.1 re-mix, AND full Friday night concert! Back of the net!

I'm sure GT will be here today to see the response, and I was wondering if he could just confirm that it has been re-mixed? The press release has remastered and new mix in the same sentence. Just find it odd you would remaster a new mix?

Why all the complaining?

It is obvious that all old albums will be re-released by Island, which is logical, they want (and ought) to have the complete Queen back catalogue.
So it is also a logical step that the concert DVD's/CD's will be re-released on Island.
So see it this way: They could have sticked to the old 'Wembley Stadium' version with nothing extra added, nd simply re-release that one. They added a complete extra concert. If you want it, buy it. If you don't want, simply don't buy it.

I think that (most of) the other live DVD's/CD's will be re-released by Island too.
So prepare for a re-release of 'Live killers', 'Queen on fire', 'Rock Montreal', 'Live magic' (although this is the only one I am not so sure about).

Was just thinking, do you think that the Q+PR will be re-released by Island too? (Return of the champions, Cosmos rocks, Ukraine)
