"To anyone out there with regards to Knebworth...
It would be great to have an idea on the songs you would most like to hear us play.
Roger and Brian"

There's an email address to send suggestions to. I thought maybe if we all decide on one song we want to hear the most (one that they wouldn't play anyway, obviously), and we all suggest that one song, there might be a chance they'd play it. Thoughts?

Right on. Great to see them open to this kind of thing.

Myself, I'd say anything from the first eight records. The more the merrier. Tunes that they haven't done in years, like It's Late and Spread Your Wings. If Bri is going to sing, it'd be nice to see him bring back Sail Away Sweet Sister. He did it a few times in 1998.

But realistically, the show will be mostly hits, as the general public doesn't know much beyond the Greatest Hits collections. Nobody should be surprised at that.

I too would very much like to hear "Sail Away Sweet Sister" come out of retirement. It's one of my personal favorite 'album' tracks. Such a wonderful song!

Though it's probably nowhere near the realm of possibility, I would love to hear Roger do a version of "Calling All Girls" or something else of his Freddie sang from that era.

Damn, that would be cool.

They're taking the piss aren't they??

For years there was a "get in touch and tell us what releases you'd like to see" note on QOL which served no purpose at all.

For the last couple of years we've had their 'official' representatives on here telling us openly that releases are NOT for the fans but aimed squarely at the general public and that's why so many greatest hits and the usual same stuff over and over.

They have done two extensive tours to their own crowds with Paul Rodgers and, with the exception of the odd gem, have stuck to the big hits, so do we really think that a partly non-queen fan festival crowd are going to be treated to Long Away, It's Late, If You Can't Beat Them etc....??

I reckon anything from Innuendo. Or even Innuendo itself. No point moving in half measures.

Sheer Heart Attack would be cool as well. Might kill Roger, but it'd be cool to hear.

Even if they don't take it into account at all, it's still worth sending suggestions if there's a chance they will.

This is what I sent, ended up writing more than I originally intended...
- Tenement Funster or Modern Times Rock And Roll with Roger vocals
- It's Late
- Spread Your Wings
- Sail Away Sweet Sister or Long Away with Brian vocals
- Something heavy from QII, Ogre Battle or Father To Son perhaps
- Death On Two Legs or Flick Of The Wrist
- Save Me - not very obscure but hasn't been played since 1982 (I think)

Please don't ask for the song We Are The Champions because it has been proven that Adam Lambert cannot sing it well.

Wow now that's is a great marketing move from QP. Try to involve the fans and critics of Adam Lambert into this gig.
You made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly!

C'mon, many Queenzoners engage in wishful setlists all the time, just for fun. Now they were asked by Brian and Roger themselves, so let them do it! :)

We all know they can't choose to play Queen II in its entirety, but they might be able to squeeze a couple of gems, so that they can also have fun.

What about Stone Cold Crazy with Rufus Taylor on drums, for medical reasons? :)

Cheers,
