Funny...
I post a link to the pictures, and then someone else posts a link to my website (their first post here, at that)... yet they get thanked :-)

There are people in this scene that can't handle torrents?

I'd like to think it's a simple inability to learn new software, rather than a case of 21st century sense of entitlement where people think two mouse clicks is one too many.

To be fair some people do have legitimate problems with torrents. My connection never used to be able handle them; I usually couldn't connect to a single seeder.

This brings up an interesting question. Shares of official releases aren't allowed on Queenzone. So why is it OK to rip off this Wardour bootleg release?
Legally I can see that we're on less shaky ground ripping off Wardour since they ripped it off in the first place (depends on how you view bootlegs).
But morally I see no difference, Wardour put some work into this (people acknowledge that it is an excellent unknown new source) and yet here we all are stealing it from them. Shouldn't we be buying the CDs from Wardour? Or encouraging them to make legal paid for FLAC downloads available?

When did bootlegs become official? Thousands of bootlegs have been shared on QZ, and I haven't seen anyone coming in and hinting that it must be deleted.
It's always been legal to share bootlegs here.
And I'm not the original owner of the discs.
Some guy shared the bootleg with us in this thread http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1302480/wembley-stadium-1986-new-wardour-release.aspx
A few people asked to make a torrent and I did my job. Nothing else I did with this bootleg.

As much as I'm a collector and love releases like this, the reality is bootleg companies cannot be legitimately compared to actual record companies. All these companies do is press a recording to CDs and release it on their own watch, without consenting the people who own the rights to the songs. Thus bootlegging is illegal in most countries. There's a good reason why most bootleg companies are located in Japan :-)
Even with that technicality aside, there is high demand and limited quantity of most bootleg releases, so they almost always sell out very quickly. The companies won't lose a penny if the music is shared online. People will always buy bootlegs because of their collectible value, but the music itself has no monetary value in this day and age of high speed internet. Once it's out, it's out.
Furthermore, the band doesn't lose a penny either, because most people who are interested in bootlegs have bought everything that has been officially released. When Page released How The West Was Won in 2003, the first people in line were the Zeppelin collectors who had listened to the audience tapes for 30 years.

Thanks for a considered response (unlike all the other responses I got). I wasn't saying there is anything wrong with sharing the bootleg, I was simply asking the question.
Are bootlegs legal in Japan then? If so I hadn't realised that.
I did try a google search for somewhere I could buy this Wardour release and I came up with nothing. The first seven pages of results were all either rips of Wardour releases or web pages listing bootleg releases.
PS. Queenzone used to email me when people replied to forums I'd subscribed to, but that seems to have stopped working.

Brilliant ... thanks for torrenting this. No seed yet though.
It sounds like they did a bit of hiss reduction on both nights. But they do sound great overall. Clearly both tapes are from the same taper.
No doubt, this is one of the best bootleg releases in a long time. Nice to see Wardour coming up with new tapes, unlike most labels who just bootleg things that have been shared online for free.[/QUOTE]
What makes you say it's the same taper on both nights? The second night sounds quite different at least for the first couple of tracks (the ones I did direct comparisons of). The first night seems clearer.
