The test pressing of HS album features the David Bowie Cool cat version,untill know only a crappy high gen bootleg version goes around... So is DRF or any other begger willing to pay about 600-800 euro for this and put it online ? Then you will be a hero...

I always laugh about those people who are begging for the French Promo Edit of Boh Rhap.... well it's nothing more as a butchered version of the song... simular to the version as played on Live Magic... Though the curiousity wins .... to obtain something you don;t have , only read about... But once you have it , you will listnen to it once or twice and be very dissapointed... So any one willing to pay 700 euro's for a Boh Rhap Edit ?

Doesn't minidisc use ATRAC compression (lossy, even if minimal)

From my perspective as someone who once was able to spend hundreds if not thousands on Queen and now realises that with a family and mortgage there are other priorities.

I checked out all of the tracks - they have the same spectres as the mp3 with the 128 kbps bitrate, so - that's not lossless, but lossy.

Perhaps "beggar" is a bit too harsh of a word, but the list of people who contribute new things in collecting communities is very small compared to the people who simply come to eat and run. And these people, whose sense of entitlement is bigger than their common sense, are always the ones who are loudest in their criticism of those who seek out the new stuff and thereby have an informed opinion on the matter.

People whose involvement in old music doesn't go beyond pointing and clicking simply do not know what they are talking about. It'd be like saying customers at a restaurant know more than the chef about how to prepare the food.
