diverting (again) slightly ....saw [b]Purple Zeppelin[/b] (tribute band) saturday - the 2½ set was really good. some pretty accurate and loyal renditions of some rock classics.
very impressed with the drummer (Al?) who managed to carry of an extremely good [b]"Paicey"[/b] and then better himself with his [b]"Bonzo"[/b]...got the style of both pretty well nailed. But the guitarist (Mark?) really nailed some of [b]"Blacker's"[/b] moves and sounds. and had [b]"Page"[/b] down to a tee. even doing the
violin bow solo. and the[i][b] Danelectro[/b][/i] came out for [b][i]Kashmir[/i][/b]. Especially loved [b][i]Ramble On[/i][/b] and [b][i]When The Levee Breaks [/i][/b]if you get a chance see them - definitely worth it
