diverting (again) slightly ....saw Purple Zeppelin (tribute band) saturday - the 2½ set was really good. some pretty accurate and loyal renditions of some rock classics.
very impressed with the drummer (Al?) who managed to carry of an extremely good "Paicey" and then better himself with his "Bonzo"...got the style of both pretty well nailed. But the guitarist (Mark?) really nailed some of "Blacker's" moves and sounds. and had "Page" down to a tee. even doing the
violin bow solo. and the Danelectro came out for Kashmir. Especially loved Ramble On and When The Levee Breaks if you get a chance see them - definitely worth it
