yeah, cos a dead bloke on a video wall totally stole the limelight from his (allegely) live bandmates....makes you wonder if Brian even thought this trhough before he agreed to it

Don't think Brian and Roger minded if Dead Freddie stole the show, they know he always was the show.

well that explains the "solo" then

can't let a dead man have all the limelight?

The solo was out of place - it's not gonna have any significance to to the general public, regardless of if it was good or not.

Jessie J's squeals were a bit out of place, but to be honest, she wasn't ALL bad. I'm not saying she's amazing, 'cos she's not. My point is that Brian and Roger really haven't got that wide a choice of many good British voices to perform alongside these days. But when you think about good vocal ability, and hyped-up pop singers nowadays, Jessie J tried to show guts vocally to prove she could be alongside Bri and Rog. BUT it's a bit obvious she was trying to be a female Freddie replacement, which is a drag-down. All in all, the 'Queen + Jessie J' tag is a mixed bag. Now if there had been a 'Queen + Adele' performance... that would have been awesome. I can imagine Adele nailing Who Wants to Live Forever to the note.

I didn't see any complaints anywhere, except for the fool who got what he deserved.

That's probably because no one took any notice. You may not realize this, but to virtually anyone who isn't a musician, Brian's solo is *boring*.
