Ugh, I want to go back just one time on that rollar coaster ride.

I wonder if they're gonna continue expanding, tour wise? I'd probably see them if they came south of the equator.

I would love to see a show, I've seen some videos online of their rehearsals and past performances...pretty good I would say.

Just a quick mention, sometime this week I'll be releasing bootlegs from the Detroit 2012 and Hamilton 2013 shows, as taped by Gregsynth. As far as I'm aware, the Hamilton show will mark the last show for now to be taped by either Greg or TSS_Killer (they're not playing in my area this year, so I won't be able to tape them again), so if anyone else can get involved on the QE bootleg action, that would be most awesome :-)

Hiya. I'm still around. I just got busy in the fall and couldn't keep up with all the forums. I went to the QE Toronto show and I'm going to Quebec City this August too. Woohoo! I see a couple of the vids I took in Toronto were posted (I Want To Break Free, Love Of My Life). Here are the others that I recorded with my HD camcorder:
Crazy Little Thing Called Love

We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions

I also got Fat Bottomed Girls but I had to record that one on my phone after getting the wave from security, so it's not as good:

Since I don't see it mentioned, Queen filmed the Huntington, NY show. It's only for promotional purposes, so unfortunately no DVD is coming. However, they're posting clips of some songs on YouTube instead of keeping it in the vault like the Q+AL shows. Two posted so far:
Another One Bites The Dust

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Also recently found this hilarious radio interview Marc Martel did where the DJ made him sing songs from Journey, Bon Jovi and Celine Dion (to see if he has what it takes for other tribute bands in case the Queen gig doesn't work out, heh). I have to say, other than not being able to hit the highest notes, he sounds really pretty as Celine mwahahaha.

I'm thinking of doing this. I don't have a digital recorder but would a mic like this and an iPhone work well? Around how big would an audio file for a concert be?

I would not recommend anything iPhone/cellphone-related as far as recording devices go, honestly.
If you want really good quality, this is what we typically use:
Roland R-05

Yep, I know iPhone isn't the best but after splashing out for a good video camera, I don't have the money right now for ~$300 in recording gear! But thanks for the list of gear anyway. Now I know what to aim for and the concert isn't till August so at least I have time to start saving haha.
They added a song to the setlist in Montreal! Not sure if it's going to stay or if it was just for Montreal. Jennifer & Marc with Tie Your Mother Down:

Hopefully, this puts to rest the question of whether Marc can do Queen's heavier rock songs. The video isn't the best but I think he and Jennifer sound great.

Yvan and JSS both sounded great, but so far I'm loving how Marc + Jen look and sound on stage. Hopefully summer gigs and possible international concerts will feature more deep cuts, less known ones. Singing famous Queen songs live is great, but hearing rare studio things live with, god almighty, 90% accuracy is the bomb for any real Queen fan. Though we all have CDs and albums, seeing QE performing, let's say, The Miracle, while there's "Queen Jr" band of kids rocking on video screens would've been orgasmic. I can think of several cases, when the M+J duo is more than appropriate, too.

This is from another QueenZone thread, check this out. This is how Queen imagined "The Queen Extravaganza" the tribute band would look in 1989, lol. "These kids should do another worldwide tour instead of us!". I knew it was always your idea, Roger, ever since then ;)
