I watched the vids last night and also noticed how the Liverpool audience was what a Queen audience should be! [/QUOTE]
The Leicester audience sang pretty much through every song. It took about a third of the set to get the audience properly warmed up I'd say. Marc said it was his personal favourite audience so far in the UK tour, but maybe he says that every night!
Leicester was a pretty small venue (350 people limit if I recall correctly). I was a bit disappointed that they hadn't squeezed a piano onto the stage, instead using two sets of keyboards.
And contrary to other opinions, I liked Jennifer's singing just as much as the others (Tyler sang several from the drums).
Unfortunately sound quality was marred by horrible bass boom in the venue. I was at the back stood against the railings in front of the mixing desk, and I could feel the bass guitar notes and kick drum in my chest. No ears required. I dread to think what recordings of the night sound like, I will download out of interest but I expect to be underwhelmed.
A couple more notes about Leicester:
Doors opened at 7pm exactly as stated on the ticket, but the band didn't start playing until 8:30pm. The cynic in me suggests the venue insists on this to increase drinks sales at the bar, which was the entire length of one wall.
The age range in the queue was huge. I was talking to two families who'd brought their children, the youngest was an eight year old girl (who still managed to eat a Large hot dog which looked bigger than her head when she started it). But not far behind me there were couples clearly old enough to be drawing their pensions who could have seen Queen live in the mid 1970s. The age range was huge, and very even gender mix. However it was almost exclusively a white queue, I don't recall seeing any other ethnicities (a bit sad really).
Oh yes, Tyler video'd the crowd on his phone right at the end after the band took their bows and left the stage. So if Tyler posts it (please if you're read this Tyler?) you'll see what the audience looked like from the band's point of view.
And a strange trivia item, a guy next to me queueing for autographs at the end introduced himself as a member of the SAS band to Marc. I couldn't quite catch his name though and I'm not up on the SAS band so stand no chance of recognising him.

The stage layout in these Liverpool videos is pretty much identical to Leicester, as is the way the songs are performed. However, no horrible bass boom at Liverpool, unless the phone's mic has poor bass response.

Great show in Glasgow tonight! Even with bad laryngitis. Honored that @RealGaryMullen showed up and came to say hi. Now for a day off.
Also, there were 8 cameras filming the Glasgow gig for promos for the O2 venue and QE. So we have new pro video to look forward to...

Someone is saying Deacon was in London to see QE, not sure if it is accurate. Wonder if he thought Spike was Deacon?
A different person on Facebook (Ian Nichol) is also saying they saw Deacon at the London QE show. So that's two "witnesses"...

Well? QE is fantastic! It wouldn't surprise me if JD did go to see them, not at all, the sound is like taking a trip to the past.
Having looked around a bit, I think some people just mistook Spike for John because Spike appeared on stage with Roger at the end of the show...
Here's a 20-minute video of clips from the London show, including Roger and Spike at the end. It's funny, even though the video is shaky and blurry in parts, it doesn't really detract much from the performance. I love how loud and enthusiastic the crowd was. And finally, an audience that can sing Love Of My Life on cue haha.
