Freddie's physical features are very common in middle east, especially in Iran and Iraq.

Wide jaw, elongated narrow scull, thin nose, dark hair and eyes.

During the late 80's when he had a short beard, ex: (I want it all) he looked very middle eastern.

His Persian roots are very distinct in his appearance.

The real giveaway was the way he kept leaving white vans parked outside government buildings. "The fertiliser is for my darling Jim!", he'd insist.

Nobody (in their right minds) cares, there is no relevance to this, and aside from that, it is utter bullshit. You can go to any country in the world and find someone who resembles someone else. So no, Freddie did not look Syrian any more than he looked Egyptian, Indian, Mexican, British, Swedish or Russian.

Yes I remember seeing someone looking exactly like Freddie in China once.

ofcourse later on he looked very english
it is amazing how his face looked so different
he never had any skin bleaching or face lifts etc
but in the song where he sings
"each time i grow old"
that is wierdly apt because part way through the mid 70's he did look older and then in close up from the same time he looked very young
then later after he just got his hair cut and grew the musdash
he suddenly looked much much younger
i notice the same with jeremy kapone
it is baffling.
Freddie always put makeup on either side of his nose to narrow it
if you look close on the pictures you can see it
it is white.

People of certain ethnic groups do have certain physical characteristics that distinguish them from other ethnic groups.
That's not racial profiling it's a fact. You can't deny that someone with blond hair and pink skin (like me) looks distinctly different from someone with dark hair and olive skintone (like Freddie).
I've had enough of politically correct bullcrap to last me a lifetime.
I wasn't making the comparison to be a racist or condescending.
I happen to love and appreciate the differences in physical appearances of people. I think the Syrian people are aesthetically beautiful people. It's people like you who are the racists it sounds to me. Sounds like you only wish everyone looked alike.
