I've just come back from Syria. I know Freddie's family comes from India, but I have come to the conclusion that Freddie looks distinctly Syrian. Especially in his younger years (60's - 70's).
Anyone else agree?[/QUOTE]

i'm finding it difficult to comprehend the abject inadequacy and depth to the personality someone who goes to Syria (in it's current political/domestic climate) - which surely invites serious intellectual comment/debate from any intelligent mind and the only comment YOU decide to make is about Freddie Mercury

you're seriously lacking in something

"Sounds like you only wish everyone looked alike"

Don't be absurd! That would make prosecution a lot more difficult.

Whoops. I mean persecution.

No, the only comment he made on Queenzone was one regarding Freddie Mercury, which is the whole point isn't it?

I'm sure Stoner has other comments to make on his time in Syria but they would be irrelevant in this forum.

In my short time reading the posts on Queenzone I have found that certain members (usually with 1000's of posts to their name) only tend to make snide jibes at people expressing their opinion or inciting debate. I think you need to assess you understanding of the definition of the word 'forum'.

i'd bet he hasn't commented about the political environment in Syria at all - two reasons...

1. his tag "Stoner" says it all really
2. had he any worthwhile observations regarding the political situation in Syria, why did HE not make it in the personal section?

i stand by my original comment

one final thing - people "with 1000s of posts" cannot make such cruel/harsh/barbed replies if people like Stoner and yourself don't make such imbecilic comments in the first place

I bet he didn't comment on Syrian politics because this is a Queen forum. One that I'll leave sad acts like yourself to enjoy.

Also, he presumably didn't note any other thoughts on Syria in the personal section as he probably has human beings with which to talk about non-Queen related topics.

Comments like the above *are* completely bizarre. On some level you know that don't you? When you're in this mode you're like a guy suddenly barreling across a room at a party knocking over drinks and pretzel bowls and people on anything less stable than a 2 1/2 heel to punch some guy you don't know in the face as he walks in the door. It's weird. Quite a few people have pointed that out in recent months. Have you noticed that?

I think the word you're looking for is, "prick".

Speaking of Bomi...did he ever grant interviews to any media source? Was he a strict father...a congenial man? I've read very little about the man. I know one of the "veterens" of the forum will probably make a snide comment about my inquiry but is there anyone that has any descriptive information of just *what* his personality was like?

It would be interesting to know. I don't think he had quite the personality as Freddie's mother. Maybe he was shy.
