Your possible predictions about Rainbow (not another joke this time around)

Ok, this is serious.
What are your real predictions about this Rainbow release? Mind revealing them?
It was said to be a compilation of both nights on DVD. Would you really like it? Or would you still want to see both complete nights on DVD?
Any possible thoughts on the Blu-ray version (if such is going to materialise at all)? Would you like some bonuses and what would you want to see as bonuses?
How about an accompanying CD release? Would you want it to be a compilation as well, or maybe two complete shows?
Discuss.

This is my topic, and I would first like to see answers to my questions from other people.

But as you asked so nicely...
I would like to see both complete shows on DVD and Blu-ray. As for bonus material, I would prefer bits of the footage from the 31/03/1974 concert. And, of course, I would very well like to hear both complete shows on CD.
A compilation would be either great, but still I'd like to see the two shows separated.

I'd be happy with one really good quality DVD which covers all songs from both nights so it can be watched smoothly as 'one gig' (was the setlist the same??)
I would however like a cd of both gigs, even if one suffers because they do not have the multitrack masters.
Any complete backstage footage is a must (we had snippets before) plus also any trailers or ads for the original cinema showings. Maybe also a small feature about the 'Box of Tricks' edited release too, and how this came about and the thinking behind why that gig out of all the others available was put into that set.
A new on camera interview with brian and roger covering the time around the gigs too please!

Yes, your thoughts are great! This is what I wished to hear from anyone. But it's a pity not all of that is likely to happen. Well, maybe they will decide to release it that way, but only partly.

From where you know that they do not have the multitrack masters?

The same format as the latest Wembley release would be great - that means 2 almost complete concerts on DVDs and a 2 CD version of at least one night, plus some nice booklet and everything they have from the March show (meaning at least Son And Daughter and Modern Times). I am definitely NOT buying a 2 night compilation, or maybe I will get it from eBay in 2 years when it will be pretty cheap. The official VHS looks great, I see no reason to buy exactly the same thing on DVD

Same here, I agree with every point you have made. Would like to add that I would prefer to have a uncropped video.

I will buy it if it`s a different comliation than the vhs (i mean a compilation doesn`t mean cuted songs or faked medleys, it could be a mostly complete compilation from both nights).
If they included Modern times rock and roll, the complete liar, flick of the wrist, etc but compilated from different nights, why don´t buy it?

In any case you'll buy this release, despite the form in which it will be released
