Even though it's not a joke, this still counts as part of The Official QZ Rainbow Thread Count.

Yay! We're one step closer to...whatever we're trying to get to!

It should be a complete concert, in my opinion. If that means a compilation of two nights, well, fine (like Montreal). Without any awkward edits, please.

Ideally, I'd like to see a couple of different options for purchase:

1. A DVD compilation of both November shows. March footage as a bonus.

2. A 2 DVD/2 CD set featuring both uncut November shows, March footage as a bonus, and the complete March audio on the CDs.

3. A Blu-Ray/2 CD set featuring both uncut November shows, the March footage as a bonus, and the complete March audio on the CDs.

I'd like a Blu-Ray release for 2 reasons; firstly because a DVD release will most likely be in crappy NTSC format (ARGH!), meaning that the dimension of the picture will be reduced (try comparing the recent Wembley release with the 2003 PAL DVD to see what I mean), and may also lose the interlaced look that is synonymous with videotape (due to the different frame rates of PAL & NTSC material).

Secondly, I think I am right in saying that the March footage exists and was shot on film. This means it has the potential for full HD.

One last thing, they should be in the original (4:3) aspect ratio! :D

In my dreams...!

I would be absolutely ecstatic to see all that available on CD alone. I'm really hoping for a good package. I already assume it will be good because they haven't really made a bad concert DVD yet, but if they could include all they have video and audio wise in the best quality possible I would be so happy...

Like most say - Blu-Ray + CD like they did with Budapest is now the expected standard - anything less would be, well, erm, substandard...

For the actual shows themselves - there is no need for complete releases of both nights if the quality is not up to Queen's standards... In 1974.. they made mistakes... I'd rather they overdub/patch up the better recording with the other and we get a really superb show. IF they're going to release a bonus disc - then we should get both shows unedited in standard quality for archival purposes... otherwise, that 2nd disc is waste - even if they set up 30 minute retorospective. If you're going to charge for the bonus - make it worthwhile.

Bootlegs are there to reveal the flaws, this should be a glossy, glamerous production - ie. Would you rather listen to Queen on Fire Live at the Bowl? or Queen - Milton Keynes 1982, the bootleg. Pretty sure 99/100 pick Fire, DVD or CD over the bootleg.

Happy Wizard: one complete show (or even a compilation of both nights) on DVD/blu-ray

Very happy Wizard: above plus the two songs from the March show

Ecstatic Wizard: above plus complete March show on CD

Wizard losing his shit: above plus additional March songs on video

That is an awesome observation!

You're referring to the short line, paragraph, conclusion looking visually similar to a textual hamburger?

if it is, lol... otherwise, i'm lost by the comment.

Jimmy dean an American country singer, founded a company that sold sausage, links etc.

In the 80's they marketed some frozen foods... notably with commercials featuring the guy.... anyways

They were alright. It was just a jab at your name...

Not certain if they even make em anymore

Since my attempt to derail the topic failed, I wouldn't be thrilled with anything less than COMPREHENSIVE.

Saying that. I had no idea TWO shows were filmed. Even for archival purposes they ought to. But seeing as how the post-miracle video s havent been released as well. .. I would just expect less.
