Hey all,
I'm new here. Be gentle :)

I think I might be older than a lot of folks here. My very first concert was when I was about 14 y.o. and saw Queen with Billy Squire at the Boston Garden. I think it was just after A Night at the Opera was released.
What was yours?

Do Queen+ gigs count?
My first time seeing them was on the Queen + Paul Rodgers tour, in Vienna on April 13th, 2005. Brian played a part of the Blue Danube during his solo. It was a great show. They had been on the road for a couple of weeks, they seemed both nervous and excited. A great feeling.

Please cry for me as whither away in senility with my life woefully unfulfilled ...

I wanted to see Queen in Chicago in '78 , but I was the eldest child, and my parents were over-protective (worries about drugs, bad neighborhood and horrible snowstorms). I was away at college when they came to Chicago in '80, and I was unaware they were touring the US in 1982 in support of Hot Space.

However, I did see Brian May in '97 (I think) and Queen + PR in 2007 (I think).

Oops, too much red wine I'm afraid! Sorry about teh slip.
Let's clarify a few things first; Queen, Night at the Opera Tour, Boston (Tick), Billy Squier, not till Hot Space Tour of 1982. Now back to memories, Sydney, April 1976 in the Horden Pavillion. My very first rock concert at 15. Overwhelmed by the lights, flash bombs, still clear memories of Brian crossing the stage from side to side during Brighton Rock, Roger's drum solo, Freddie's white piano and the total sense of disbelief mixed with fun when he appeared in his kimono, singing Big Spender to reveal those candy striped hot pants to sing jailhouse Rock- the whole place went ape shit!

I'm so jealous! Never saw Queen back in the day...the closest I would have been to going would be Houston in the 70's and I just didn't, I do regret not seeing them when I could have. Did see QE last year.

Closest I got to Queen was seeing them last year with Adam Lambert at the first of the Hammersmith shows! VERY loud

February 28, march 1st, march 4, march 6 and march 8 (all 1981 Argentina shows), Wembley july 12 1986, Brian at Guitar Legends in Seville 1991, Wembley April 20 1992 (Tribute), november 1st and 6th 1992 (Brian's BTTL tour), november 21 2008 Rock the cosmos tour.

I will one day get a Tardis or a Delorean or other sort of time travel machine and get me arse down to ANY 1974 gig, ANYWHERE.
