I have only seen them live (as in real-time) one time- Brian and Roger during the Olympics closing on the TV broadcast.

Its funny how we don't see any of the all-time-know-it-all-queen-gurus responding here ha ha...
What exactly does that mean? I would consider Kurgan and The Real Wizard to be "gurus" of sorts.

Nevermind. Not trying to put anyone down. It's just that there are just a "very few" know it alls that are always making fun of people that are either new or don't know much or just try to get some basic info. These serious collectors and queen gurus (haven't seen one replying this post mind you) are surprisingly quiet when it comes to say if they have ever been at a queen show.....that's all. As you can see I've been to some gigs and I have a couple of personal stories about the band but something you will never see from me is either arrogance or contempt or a diva attitude which can be very prevalent here...that's all. There is a saying that I like that goes: "tell me what you brag about and I'll tell you what you're lacking of..." I really like it when people post and answer in a team-like constructive way and unfortunately that is not the prime example of some of the people that should be helping the newbies no matter how stupid the question this might me (is BoRhap about AIDS?) right?
my 2 cents that's all

Please cry for me as whither away in senility with my life woefully unfulfilled ...
I wanted to see Queen in Chicago in '78 , but I was the eldest child, and my parents were over-protective (worries about drugs, bad neighborhood and horrible snowstorms). I was away at college when they came to Chicago in '80, and I was unaware they were touring the US in 1982 in support of Hot Space.
However, I did see Brian May in '97 (I think) and Queen + PR in 2007 (I think).
Your lot is pretty impressive too.
Do you recall much about the shows, or is it all kind of hazy now?

They only played Dayton in 75 and 77, and Cincinnati is either 78 or 80.
Do you remember much about the shows?

Thanks to many generous people on QZ, I have 78, 80 and 82 Chicago concerts. Most would probably prefer '78, but Chicago '80 is my favorite of the three
