Had Freddie not died do you think Queen would still be putting out albums?

They would have been still recording.
However, from Jazz right through to Made In Heaven, the quality curve was definitely down. Another 20 years later, I dread to think how they would've sounded. Musically, Queen stopped being a great album band in 1977. Their singles would've been good though.

Martin mentioned that Queen might have morphed into something, how, or what direction, do you guys think Queen would have changed musically had they gone on.[/QUOTE]
Yes, I do. They changed a lot musically over the years, so why not "in the future?"

:-)
My love for the band is as much for my memories of those mad times as well as the quality music they did.
I loved their singles and there were good tracks on albums from Jazz onwards. I just couldn't love the albums for the music in the way I did the first 6 (and particularly the first 3).

i agree with this ^^^
although i'd also include Jazz
never really "got" The Game
hated "Hot Space" from day one to now
"AKOM" grates on me
"Miracle has some nice spots"
"Innuendo" ditto, but overall, very average and dates badly - sound wise

I don"t think so... I have listened Queen from 2 years, and I can"t find a song that i don't like. Maybe because I'm in love with the voice of Freddie :)
I would give a lot so that he lives to be able to hear at least one concert Queen , but personally I prefer that he died in glory, than if he had to be pushed aside by a commercial pop star :/
