I think 'Action This Day' is quite a good track..anyone else agree?

Especially when it was played live, it was awesome, I think anyway. But its such a little known Queen song and people who do know it dont seem to like it. Definitely one of the best offerings from HS in my opinion, and it's one of my favourite Queen songs. Anyone else appreciate it?

I myself appreciate the Hot Space album....don't understand why so many trash it. True it was a shock to the system to most diehard fans that were used to the band having a heavier sound but if you don't evolve with the times then you become irrelevant.....and I think Hot Space for its time was a good way of being up to date with what was going on at the time. Action This Day has a very infectous beat. I find myself each time I listen to it tapping my foot and getting really into the beat

It's pretty mediocre on the album, but live, it's like a totally different song! :D

It is my favorite on Hot Space and in my top twenty of all Queen songs. I find it motivating for me when in the face of adversity

I LOVE "Action This Day"! Lol! Are you KIDDING?! I think it should be on a "best of" one day as a matter of fact. And yes I do love all of "Hot Space" as well.

I think it's a great song. If Queen would have recorded it on their usual 'Queen' way and releases it as a single it could have been a nr1 hit. The live version is awesome!!!

For me, one of best songs of Hot Space album and live it's better !

I prefer Staying Power, not a huge fan of Hot Space though.

I *like* Action This Day (and Calling All Girls) and consider them among the better songs on the album.

Not a huge favourite, although it has been a bit of a grower over the years. The live version on the last box set was way better in my opinion.

That's a great song. Who ever said it was bad?
