When I first listened to this leaked track, I thought it would be an earlier take circa De Lane Lea demos, because of the arragements. But now it has been cleared that comes from the Trident acetate.
So there's a big diference and work between this version and the one that made it to the official release.

In my opinion, the intro works better on electric guitars than acoustic ones :p

and the drum solo from this acetate version almost sounds to me like Roger were joking about that..

Dear Real Wizard, do not take my post so seriously.I was just wondering if other acetate stuff really exist. Queenpedia is source where not all info are really true and acetate stuff is another confirmation of it. Was just wondering about your reply.

A facinating leak. Sounds rather crudely edited (before the drum solo for example) like the shorter 'long lost retake' edit. The instrumentation here sounds far more like the other debut recordings like Jesus for example, that might be the rather lumpy acoustic playing and slightly proggy feel. Whatever that is.

Got to agree with the Real Wiz about the discussion. I know that I personally got bored. Glad I came back and found this gem. Well done all involved, however shady :o)

Thanks for sharing, I rarely come back to this forum as it has become boring and "periodic". People come and grab and don't feel the need to say thank you! I'm very excited about this leak which does not mean I'll have to flip out completely to show the guys at QP that the real Queen fan is still interested in rarities. I'm totally fed up with all the re-re-re-releases and Greatest Hits, Queen Rocks, Deep Cuts etc. compilations. I'll get excited when the Antholy has finally been release, not before!

Agreed - but I know deep down I was very happy with the 2011 reissues. 2 Years ago? Surely not?
