If you ask me, I think will be the following. Concert ready for release, but the band has not decided in which format release it . Eagle Vision has taken the honor to show 60 minute concert. Although, for more detailed information should be write letter to Eagle Vision or write to Brooks and Taylor.

It could have very well been to do with what was mentioned below here:

I think that it could have been possible that they recorded the soundcheck as a test (or to set rightly the cameras) for the later show that night..
In other words, calibrating the video cameras and adjacent broadcasting equipment...Very possible indeed.
Rather miraculous they'd have kept something like that, IF what ghostwithasmile said is absolutely true
(*Dude, you can insist all you want that it's 100% true, but the majority of people want something to corroborate your claims, and I can understand why. Look no further than the years of claims on QZ gone unproven or proven to be false...)

Certainly worth a shot, but if a Non-Disclosure Clause is in effect regarding a home media release of Rainbow, don't be surprised if you don't get the answer you want.
Just saying.

Oh yes! I am TOTALLY serious!
Why release the Queen+AL concerts when nobody is really interested in them? Some Queen fans might enjoy it, but not all, while the Rainbow shows will be liked by everybody. It would either be wrong to do such a step to release the 2012 concerts, which might later result in losing the fans.

Has no one queried the contradiction as the original statement saying that the supposed soundcheck film was found AFTER the supposed original Hammersmith release date?!!! That means even if the soundcheck stuff is true, they didn't know about it until after the DVD should already have been released.

Don't pay attention to rocknrolllover. He's got a very stubborn mindset, everyone else's views be damned.
