Whether it's their actual intention or just their flimsy excuse for a lazy business model, I don't really buy the notion that they need to settle into such a routine in order to get new fans.
Rather; I don't see why such a strategy precludes them doing anything interesting at the same time. It's never been adequately explained to me why they can't do both.
