It looks like after "the time" musical.

Yep same clothing he's wearing in other shots from the special charity performance in April 1988. I would love to have a decent recording of all of the Freddie tracks from that show

Yes, it's DC. And the pallor looks like white stage makeup. Consistent with that performance.

It might just be me, but it also looks like Freddie is really, really tired in that picture.

It was Freddie`s last live performance ever.

Hi a number of years ago looking through a second hand book shop in London I found a package containing around 15 photos of Freddie think they're all 8x6 glossy shots, most of them i'd never seen before including this one you mention, it is Dave standing beside Freddie I don't think the guy selling realised what he had in that package and I always wondered how the actually ended up in a second hand shop in Kensington / London... Still have those somewhere.
