^ A speed 'change' issue would be a rather different kettle of fish though.
It's strange how these newbie posts are coming in.

Source, please..?

Not a newbie, just don't post very often. No idea if Fun In Space now runs at the correct speed or not but there is certainly the odd glitch in there.

I too am somebody who simply does not post very often, but I have been a member of the site for a number of years. I simply choose not to post for reasons of time and the fact that a large majority of the posts on here all too often degrade into petty bickering and sniping by the minority.

Please do not confuse 'newbie' in the sense of being new to this site, with 'newbie' in the sense of being new to the world of Queen as the two are very different.

^ I make no such assumption.
It was merely an observation.
I also observe you have now removed your post count.

Apologies, I read an inference there which obviously wasn't intended. I haven't intentionally removed my post count, if I can find the setting I'll turn it back on. I went into profile options to see if I could find when I first registered out of idle curiosity so something may have defaulted as a result.

Not to worry, it has now returned.
I also apologise for any misunderstanding.

Fun In Space has fase inverted compared to 1996 release.

Speed issues between My Country I & II and My Country (single version)

^ How so?
Are you saying that it’s the absolute phase, both channels that are inverted, or is it that one channel is inverted?
I take it you checked both discs in the same setup.

both channels on 2013 remaster of Fun In Space have inverted phase in comparison with 1996 remaster. There're no speed change issues on 1996 remaster.

^ How did you discover inverted phase?
Can you demonstrate?
· Member since
Actually it doesn't really matter if the phase of both channels is inverted. It important for channels not to be out of phase with each other.
Speed change issues is the main problem for 'Fun In Space' album.

Try any sound editor and see the waveform of the track.

Sorry if this has been spotted - another error that needs correcting is the intro to Life Changes (on the Blue Rock album)

I have the original album, so I've noticed that the first second has been cut off on the Blue Rock album version. The first second is intact on the single version, but we know how that version ends... So both versions of Life Changes need correcting.

Uhhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure the ending cut off is the Lot's Blue Rock itself and that the actual single version is just fine on the set ^

It's not an error but a difference in 2013 compilation of the album. In the original version of 'Blue Rock' album there's a crossfade between 'Hand Of Fools' and 'Life Changes'. In 2013 version there's NO crossfade and NO any cuts, so now both tracks have clean end/start which is great in my opinion. The same thing is for 'Electric Fire' album.

BTW, 'One Night Stand' sample on the original CD is the password for 1998 website secret track (which was 'One Night Stand' full 1998 version) and not the part of the album. That's why it was not presented on 2013 version. Enjoy the full 1998 version on RT Singles 2 CD.
