GT - what about those of us who can't play the CDs as we ordered from amazon who weren't given the stock they were promised. We still don't know if and when we will ever get it? Is it limited or is it not? Will it be reprinted or not? Yes - i think these errors are appalling but I'd rather have the set with these errors than not at all?
It's all very well saying enjoy playing the CDs, that's what I'm doing! Bully for you mate, but a hell of a lot of us want to but can't. Will we ever see a set in our hands? Will we EVER get to listen to this set?
And if so when?
We want to give you our money, we've had the set on order for weeks and no-one is telling us anything.
It's ridiculous! :(

Believe me, I understand the frustration that everybody feels about this product, as we feel the same. Once our work is done it is passed on to another team to put everything together. I'm not sure what is happening with this set now but hopefully the errors in the text and on the discs will be corrected.

It´s good to read that errors will be corrected. I hope this second edition appears soon, since i don´t want a wrong one...
The years of collecting rare and misprint items fortunately are long gone...
Anyway if anyone wants in a future to share with me the alternate Pressure On will be welcomed... :-)

You really are just a retarded russian homophobic troll aren't you?
Nothing, absolutely nothing about your presence on Queen sites could be appreciated by anyone who does not share your amount of frustration in life. It has to be a huge amount for you to come here every day and passionately take it out on others.
And worst of all, you don't seem to give a crap about any criticism coming your way, constructive or not. So many people are so fucking sick of you on Queenzone and Queenonline and you couldn't care less you psychopath.
Here's hoping for that one perfect lightning strike!
SPOT ON.

Agr123456 with all due respect I don't THINK he said that there will be a correction...he just said that he HOPES that there will be one.

and despite what some people on here have said/think, most people are pleased with the overall set.
Looking at this from both sides of the fence as impartially as I can, I know you meant well GT, but that comment is a bit unintentionally insensitive to those here and elsewhere who've spent hard earned quid on the set, only to get pissed off when they discovered the glaring flaws, and right now was not exactly the best time to make a comment that I'm sure was intended to calm down the furor somewhat.
It's still the heat of the moment phase as far as the controversy stands, and these people won't calm down until they've had some sort of reassurance from those directly responsible for the set's manufacturing that there will be a solution in place.
I know these errors are not your fault, and you are getting an unfortunately disproportionate amount of flak from the people who should seriously know better.

And with that being said, I strongly urge you lot (pun intended) to get off your bitching asses if you haven't already, and contact Virgin EMI and Universal directly:
I also suggest keep raising awareness about the errors on Roger's Facebook page, try to reach out to those out there who don't post on QZ or QOL to also do the same thing above ^

Nice constructive ideas. Maybe I will contact Virginemi. I will praise them for their attempt on providing a product for hardcore fans.
However a product that is overall 5% defective is NOT acceptable.
Hopefully sincere efforts will be expended to make things right

And THIS is the kind of message that they need to hear and get in their heads! :-)
Get on it!

Thanks Gary! A very sincere response from your part... sometimes we "send the weakest to the wall".
Now i understand is not your fault at all.
Otherwise i`m agree with Inu... to send a Mail to Emi it`s a good option.

GT,
I find it hard to believe that anyone would take issue at all on anything you post here.
What saddens me is the lack of an explanation or reasons from QPL as to why Roger's career has been represented in this shambolic way. The outward appearance is of an organisation that simply doesn't give a monkey's toss about the content, what / who it represents and the people forking out their hard-earned for it. The demand CLEARLY shows the desire for product of this nature but it is, simply, of littl more value than drinks coasters.
You and GB are to be applauded at providing the raw material to work with, but where is the quality control?

As a collector, this means that in due course I will have two different RT 'The Lot's (that's a lot!) in my collection...

Well Amazon have given me a date of 25th November now, so I guess this means they are restocking with the faulty product. I am going to buy it anyway as overall the set looks decent and there is a lot of stuff on there I want. I do not have Mad Bad or Shove It on CD, and my Happiness CD is damaged. so for 3 albums + the new album, and the rarities and DVD, £80 is still not a bad price really.
As soon as I receive it though I am going to start sending emails to Virgin complaining about the issues, and hopefully in time we will see some replacement discs for Blue Rock et al. Don't really care about the book, but the badly mastered discs I would like replaced.

I'm just happy no one has taken it upon themselves to refer to GT as indicative of GIANT TURD, in some insulting manner.
Clearly he had no involvement with the mastering but as it stands, that IS a pitiable amount of quality control going on with one of the worlds MOST FAMOUS/POPULAR bands. .. (*even if it's just solo stuff)
This was presented in an archivist manner. It should have been treated as such and checked, checked, checked and again checked.
From what I gather it's like a mistyped menu for a restaurant and the attention and concern given is along the same lines
