Okay, first off, do not attack me. I am a new poster, and as I understand it, the point of this forum is Queen news and discussion. So I'm creating a simple, friendly topic.
So, say all this hoopla about the new album and tour actually happens and this tour is a world tour, and say, for the sake of hypotheticals, that it is their final tour. What do you think, besides the hits, the setlist would be? I would think that since it's the final tour we would see some deep cuts. Personally, my dream songs for a live performance lie in The Miracle and Innuendo. I would love to "The Miracle", "Breakthru" "The Invisible Man" "Scandal" and "Innuendo" played live. Plus any new stuff that comes out. I think it would be interesting for Roger's little singing bit to include "Heaven for Everyone." But what do you guys think? And please don't fight or anything.

Firstly I don't think it will be a massive tour just a few select dates maybe 10 or 12 spread across a few countries ,USA definitely, to showcase Lambert ! As for the set list, it'll be safe, I reckon. I hope it won't be the final shows, I can see them doing select gigs every now and again.

Fuck you asshole!
Just kidding. I totally agree about The Miracle & Innuendo cuts, and i'd love to hear some unperformed MIH tracks as well.
Hopefully anything off The Cosmos Rocks will be ditched, especially as now without Paul there really is no other reason to perform substandard Queen tracks when they have such a wealth of amazing classics to choose from.
My no.1 pick for a song I would just LOVE to make the tour setlist would be It's Late. One of their best tracks, and rarely performed live.

But Roger singing Small would be nice. So I wouldn't rule out TCR entirely.

This is the sort of bitter-sweet topic that gets you buzzing, thinking about never-before-played-live tracks, obscurities and the like......
......perhaps Great King Rat, The Night Comes Down, March Of The Black Queen..........
......Long Away, Sail Away Sweet Sister.......
......or even Breakthru, The Miracle, Scandal or Innuendo.
But then you remember they've got nobody to actually showcase this stuff in the manner it deserves (AL), so it stops becoming exciting.
If it was just Brian and Roger, I'd be up for it.

Paul Rodgers singing without an autocue would've been even better

^ what am I missing, Bren?

^ You're OK, I think I see: I wasn't saying MOTBQ was never played, but it is one of the obscurities. I don't think it was ever played in its entirety.

Yeah I'd like to think its their last tour, I've been following Queen since the 80's, been to every tour from 84 including solo and the last 3 outings with Al and PR and yeah they all were great, but no matter how much we love them there is a time to hang up the drums and guitars. As to set list well Brian has always said he's not known for giving the audience what they want but always a good time (Quote from 2005) So suprises on the set list mmmm I dont think so but hey as it could be their last tour you would like to thik that some tracks never done live could make it on to a set list.

Roger always sings with an autofocus, most bands have them now.

Sorry autocue !

More songs like when Roger sang Tenement Funster with Taylor Hawkings a few years back etc. And I think Brian sang Long Away? Would love to see more of those songs more than the latter ones.

There were a lot of songs that on the face of it would have suited Paul Rodgers, however he had no interest in singing anything other than the well know hits, and new songs on The Cosmos Rocks Tour.
The chance was there for him to sing what ever he wanted to, a lot of ideas were thrown around but he apparently found a lot of Queen songs to "wordy" compared to what he was used too.
At least with Adam Lambert we got Keep Yourself Alive and 7 Seas which was a surprise .
