Paul Rodgers singing its late would have been awesome !
There were a lot of songs that on the face of it would have suited Paul Rodgers, however he had no interest in singing anything other than the well know hits, and new songs on The Cosmos Rocks Tour.

The chance was there for him to sing what ever he wanted to, a lot of ideas were thrown around but he apparently found a lot of Queen songs to "wordy" compared to what he was used too.

At least with Adam Lambert we got Keep Yourself Alive and 7 Seas which was a surprise .
Agreed on Rodgers - anything beyond 'ooh baby baby' seemed to throw him at times. And as for those ridiculous sounding vowels he kept squeezing out....what IS that about?!!

I always thought a 1989 tour would open with Breakthru. Can just imagine the music of the train building up, like One Vision in 86, then a giant model train bursting through the back of the stage with a massive 'Q' on it, the front of the train opening and Freddie jumps out and starts singing 'If I could only Reach You'. Something that'll never happen obviously, but a fab opening to an '89 gig. Oh well, I can dream of it can't I?

Ye love that vision Rocker, I always thought the look they had in the I want it all video, Freddie shirt & tie, Roger leather jacket etc would have been a great live look .

before the Q+PR tour began, I distinctly remember reading quotes from Paul and/or Brian that they were planning on doing Innuendo in concert! Now that would have been something.....
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

How about they make the statement that it REALLY is FINAL - through the setlist?

They start with the opening track from the first album and end with the last song on the last album they recorded together and include TWO tracks from every album?

Keep Yourself Alive
One Vision
Seven Seas of Rhye/Killer Queen
Don't Stop Me Now
Breakthru
Somebody to Love
Now I'm Here/Innuendo/Liar (medley)
White Queen
Save Me
Love Of My Life
Under Pressure/Another One Bites The Dust/Action This Day (medley)
Fat Bottomed Girls
I Want It All
Hammer To Fall
Princes of The Universe
Bo Rhap

Great set list brENsKi. But wouldn't they need to include the MIH album and possibly the forthcoming album, if it's released in time.

The only chance I would make to your set would be to end the main set with Gaga the TYMD then have TSMGO Rock You and Champions has a stand alone encore that ends in the traditional way.

my caveat was "recorded together" no freddie/John excludes any new album, and no Freddie during the recording stage of MIH

I would suggest, based on what has been said by Brian so far, that at least some of the new album will feature a track or two that all four recorded together (though probably with some new work on top by Brian and Roger; however even 'back in the day' there were lots of tracks recorded or finished off by individuals without all of them there).

yes. maybe ^^

but surely the proviso was that while ALL four were actively involved/alive then any "final" recording had to get past the "other three" - before being committed to vinyl - so the quality control is (at least) 50% less stringent and 200% more autocratic
