Blessed are the peacemakers! It is so stupid to have these Queen/Lambert wars! A very nice 24-city tour is about to take place in North America and both sets of fans should be thrilled about it first and foremost because it extends the Queen legacy, especially to the younger generations who might not be aware of this amazing, iconic music.
You silly, deluded woman. You told me in the last 24 hours or so, I wasn't accepted not only by you, but by the Glamberts because of who I talked with on QOL. You have posted you owe your ban to me. Wars? LOL.
No one should be thrilled about the same things, it's called having own thoughts about things. Not everyone likes the same books for example.
If you want people to throw up rainbows and shit out glitter about all things Adam Lambert, there are AL sites, Amazon.
Yes, you sided with the most hateful anti-Lambert troll and you thought we should be happy about it and accept you in spite of it. I still wonder why you found it necessary to follow me here. Don't you have anything else to talk about besides me and what I say about Adam? If you are such a great fan of Queen, why don't YOU stick with posting about them instead of constantly picking on this current collaboration? We know that you don't approve of it. Can't you leave it at that and go on to something else? I don't think I am silly and deluded to be excited about this tour. If I am, there are thousands of other ticket-buyers who are as excited about it as I am! Have a nice day, icy! After 2-1/2 years of this sh*t, I can't go around and around with you anymore! I move forward--not in circles! And, yes, every time I try to be nice to you, you take it the wrong way and I get banned. It's a fact!

No I didn't side with him. I talked and I still do talk to him about plenty of music. I agreed with him on some things not everything. Follow you here? I was here years ago, but lost my details, so I decided to join again. I'm not hiding anything. You were going on about your ban before I joined here in replies to Adamethos and inu liger. This is an open board where almost everyone can join and take part in. That's what I've done.
Did you not notice on QOL I discuss things about Queen and many other topics? Unlike you which only purpose seems to be praise, promote AL and be lovey dovey to him and Obama and blast the Republicans. What else have you offered over there in over 2 years besides that? Really not much.I'm a Queen fan and a fan of other artists besides, in case you didn't know by now, of course I doubt you even read other parts of the board, let alone post there. Don't tell me what to post about and where. I know you want me to shut up, that's not gonna happen on your say so.
You are silly, and deluded to hold a grudge and holding it against me because of who I talk with on the web. Not only you though, it goes for many Glamberts you say, I guess that explains everything all along. I kind of knew that was the case but now you are putting it out there in black and white. If you ever come back to QOL, I wonder if you will make this type of comment over there about me? Or will you say you are done, just to know you will post another f*d up comment soon after as you have done time and time again.
When was the last time you tried to be nice to me? Posting your ban is owed to me, posting I'm following you here, the times you spoke about me on Amazon. That wasn't nice, and now you come out with who I talked with changed your and many other Glamberts views about me. Just how do you know how they feel, or are you another wannabe spokesperson for them as well?
.All this because of who I talked to on another message board. You can't even handle that much clearly, let alone posts that differ from your views on AL. No wonder why you were and still are butthurt. LOL.
Leave the promotion of the guy to the ones who get paid to do it.
I'll be keeping all of this in mind. Major fail on your part to turn against your back on me simply because I talked with someone else, and you pointed out it's more than you. I thought AL wasn't for judging people, too bad some of his fans can't say the same.

Oops, I didn't see the subtitle, "the greatest band in the land" under Serious Discussion, but when I came here there were already several threads started about the Queen + Adam Lambert collaboration and I didn't start any of them, including this one! Can they be moved over to the Personal section now or is it too late?
Well, that's ok (if you really didn't see it, as you so kindly explained it). Perhaps the OP started it as some kind of joke towards Matt Z or something? However, NO, they can't be moved over to any other section. You can't even delete your threads on here until you've notified a moderator.
It seems like the easy answer would be for the mods to start a Queen + Adam Lambert Forum (like the one for QPR). It would solve some problems (although I'm sure not all).
Maybe they're waiting to do that until the tour starts, but it would be best if they did it now and deleted the other other threads or transferred them to that new forum.
P.S.
I just sent YourValentine a request. I'm sure she's gotten others, based on the thread in this forum where it's discussed, so we'll see if it appears.

"Yes, of course I got your point the first time. My point was about hypocrisy. The AL/Gravitas/Sheep thread is also about Adam, and not about Queen, and yet that thread's presence under the 'Serious Discussion' section doesn't seem to bother you. In fact the only time it bothered anyone was when fans of Adam started posting in it. Very strange. Or not."
As author of the thread, I'm totally serious. AL is not welcomed by those who don't welcome him because he's too much of a lightweight to handle the rock and roll part of the catalogue (and he has an annoying trill and stage presence.) He has lost his record contract. His career is being kept afloat by an incredibly passionate fan base, but a career and fan base that RCA seems unwilling to invest him. So, my point that Adam Lambert is an artistic lightweight (no gravitas) whose career is being kept afloat by a small but vocal fan base (or sheep) is valid. But please, post a video of chubby Adam singing at someone's bar mitzvah to convince me otherwise.

Wake up Glambulge-heads! Queen does not need a C-lebrity poseur to help with their legacy. He adds nothing. He is inferior and his versions of the songs are inferior. He can't sell- can't even come close to selling- the songs as good as Freddie so the new kids just need to hear the records not a second-rate theatrical farce,
Brian & Roger didn't hire Lamgoat for his help "extending their legacy". They wanted to perform live again and they like goat throat. That's all it is. He's a hired gun (that shoots only blanks).
You zealots need to be put back into your place

SBN, other thread/s are often brought up into a discussion to defend AL topics. It happened on QOL, wouldn't you know it, it's happening here too.
Your post is spot on IMO.

Everyone, profuse apologies for my weak and wimpy inability to stomach these personality conflicts. My issue is I fractured my femur only 6 weeks ago. The fracture takes 4-6 months to heal. So although I am pro Q+AL, my biggest focus is Brian who underwent knee surgery and returned too soon after the surgery to perform iheart in Vegas. He possibly has some remaining health issues but has not mentioned since Dec. So, sympathetic I am to my main man, Doc Bri, as I heal from my fracture and think about pain he has suffered and hopefully will not come back.
IOW, my only concern about this tour is the sheer amount of performances in a month. I think Adam and Roger can weather the work load and hopefully Dr. Bri. Hopefully they all take care of themselves and watch out for each other, especially for Dr. Bri, and further hoping he knows when to use a stool to sit down and take the pressure off his back.
I hope you fully heal.
I too have concerns about Brian's health throughout these shows. It's not going to be a show like him and Kerry where everything is more laid back.

I understand that you believe all of the above, and I'm not in the least interested in convincing you otherwise. It's enough for me that Brian and Roger think differently and are bringing this collaboration to those of us who can enjoy it, either in full or in part.
The very fact that Brian and Roger are the authors of this collaboration is what qualifies a QAL forum, on a Queen site that already has a QPR forum, even though many disapproved of it as well.
What each of the members here think about Queen's collaborations, in particular the QAL one, can be stated in the QAL forum should it appear. Or in its absence, members both pro and con will no doubt continue to post their thoughts in the other forums available. It's pretty simple, really.
Gosh damn, I thought I deleted that last post! Ok, well thanks for replying and I mean super thanks. When I watched the iheart, quite frankly, ihurt for him! At one point Dr. Bri is sitting on a stool with a pained look. Kerry is absolutely wonderful to Dr. Brian, and he to her. She is so considerate and caring I almost tear up watching their vids. I am nuts about their performances, and knowing much of the proceeds from the candlelight shows will go to animal charity, I am deeply touched. So, he gets to sit with his guitar, and she caringly sits too. The tour must mimick this, at least encouraging him to sit when he needs to BEFORE he experiences pain. Even though the tour will be almost a year after his knee surgery (Aug 9ish, 2013), still his back problems may flare up. They've GOT to be careful of him and for him.
I seriously wonder what boring things were discussed in these Queen forums before Adam and his "fan-atics" arrived on the scene. The fact that 23 years after Freddie passed away there are still such forums even in existence makes me think that WE are NOT the only "fan-atics" hanging around here!
There've been PLENTY of things discussed over the years, and I can vouch for that having been a member of this board for over 14 years.
If you've got time to be spamming AL videos, news links, fighting with certain people, then you've most certainly got time to go dig in deep through this board to sample years' worth of topics.
The fact you would imply that we only talk boring things shows how ignorantly little you know or understand about Queen and their fans.

Queen and other topics duh. Did you read or can you even read a bit before jumping to half assed assumptions? No, I didn't think so.
And you of all people can't compare Queen fans to so called fans like you. You had thousands of posts on QOL, less than 10 talked about Freddie unless you were comparing him with AL.
You will be lucky indeed if AL can ever come close to Freddie in 23 years time.
You sure prove how clueless you can be at times.
