If you don't fill out a profile page when you open an account, you don't have a profile. But you still have an acct. that is tied to your IP address. The mods should be able to see this part, but not us. Profiles (interest pages) are generally open to everyone. Some use them, some don't.[/QUOTE]

A funny coincidence that some have profiles and some don't? There's no coincidence, because the profile pages have nothing to do with polls.

Profile pages are just filled in by members who want to share their interests with other members, that's why some of the questions on this particular profile form are Queen-centric - because it's a Queen forum. I bet more members than not never filled out a profile page (that's generally true in all forums).

If you seriously want to know if a member voted more than once in inu's poll, the only way to tell is if a mod checks the IP addresses to see if there are duplicate votes from the same computer. Even old grannies know that.

Found it. If you highlight members at the top of the page, a drop-box list shows up and includes Profile.

I didn't and won't be filing mine out because i know some are likely to use anything and everything they can find out about me. I already had threats by mithril aka taptap about forwarding my posts from QOL on to a legal commission.

Oh, we have a problem here...

First I add some Infos to the profile but I`am getting the page not found info.

Second : I signed out to check if that maybe changed. No so far.

But here is the biggest bug !!!

I signed out and was requested to vote ( wich was the second time) again and it worked !!!

That's why I said the mods have to match votes against IP addresses. Hopefully the s/w is written so that they can see every vote and see if any duplicates came from the same computer. The IP addresses will match up to accounts, so if anyone has voted more than once, or has more than one account, the mods would see it.

I know on QOL, the members can only vote on polls. I thought the same went for here.

It's probably The Milkman -- he's some kind of computer whiz -- at least he's on his computer 24/7! I wouldn't be surprised if he is a hacker as well!
