It's probably The Milkman -- he's some kind of computer whiz -- at least he's on his computer 24/7!
Do you see him here? I don't. How can you even guess what he does with his time?

All you are doing is proving exactly how petty, small minded and obnoxious you can be.

Hmm. I remember inflating votes on my old "which John Deacon style do you prefer" poll. ...

70's hair. Gaga video, grey hair etc.

FTR I voted twice for trolls. Seems that all past history vanishes upon a new day and the results are no longer visible.

ALSO non users can vote as well. So it's hardly accurate. Just always accepted that that was the way it is.

(Shrug)

I don't feel like signing up on a poll website every time someone wants an OFFICIAL count.

Someone needs to rewrite the script on these polls

Well at least the results shifted the other way around...

"I know, I know, it's not very original, but then again neither was your poll."

Neither were your lot's dirty tricks hijacking the results.
If you really think glamberts hacked your poll, you should probably ask a mod to check out the IP addresses.
Careful, I just actually might!
Believe me, I definitely think you should.
Of course you'd say that because all you have to do is log off and log back on and vote again and again. YOU DON'T NEED SEPARATE PROFILES. Vote. Log out. Log back in, Vote again. That's what you and sweatycaroline did. I just did it just now to prove you can.

Like I said in another post all one has to do is log off and log back in and vote again. Rinse. Repeat. I was wrong that they needed to create whole new profiles

Well, if Barb ever follows through with my request, we could potentially find out whether or not our concerns about duplicate profiles were justified or not.
taptap wrote: The IP addresses will match up to accounts, so if anyone has voted more than once, or has more than one account, the mods would see it.
Not true. You can vote with your same IP repeatedly by signng out and signing back in Same IP.

I created a few fake accounts just to see if it could be done and it can but then I notice you don't have to

Omg! Will I be banned if I voted more than once? I mean like people get banned from QOL for spamming, and such :O
LOL

The technical problems of this website are ridiculous. Trolls can "overrun" this place whenever they want. Sad !

Honestly, I've been interacting with Glamberts since Adam first started singing with the band. Generally they are what most artist worshippers are like towards the beginning of their careers. Full of hope optimism and love.

There is a large percentage though that are beyond fanatical and it really is detrimental to how the rest of the fanbase looks but for the most part they are just a very positive fanbase.

Both sides have a percentage of vocal fans that amp up the other side.

I don't have a problem with super-enthusiastic fans. I've been an obsessive fan of some TV shows to the point of wearing costumes, attending conventions (organizing conventions!) and once even participating in a rally/march on a network studio when a show was threatened with cancellation. So I've had intimate experience with super-enthusiasm! haha

The issues I have with Glamberts (at least the ones who post on Queen boards) that I haven't encountered in my other fandoms are:

1. The sensible/moderate Glamberts generally don't call out the fanatics on their idiocy. I guess they feel they have to stick together and support each other NO MATTER WHAT when among "outsiders" but the problem is by being silent (or worse, sticking up for the fanatics) they get lumped in with them.

2. There's this "Green Eggs and Ham" vibe from a lot of Glamberts when in the company of those who are not as enthusiastic about AL as they are. As in:

Average punter: I don't like green eggs and Adam.

Glambert: But maybe you'd like him in Kiev? Hammersmith? iHeart? In this picture? In this video? In this tweet? In a boat? On a moat? With a goat? Etc. :D

Speaking of Green Eggs and Ham, I love this brilliant musical rendition of the Dr. Seuss book by the band Moxy Fruvous:

What about goat pictures with AL's face imposed on it and when AL sounds like a goat? Glamberts sure do not like that LOL.
