brian may is a liar! he has no intention what so ever to finish any queen projects! He's too busy touring with kerry ellis and adam lambert. If he really cared about freddie, queen, and the fans; he would get to work on the anthology project or the new queen album. Same goes for Roger taylor. Bunch of greedy liars.

They enjoy performing.

In the music world sense. They may be trying to STACK the DECK in order to assure sales on the next product

I understand they enjoy playing, but we've been waiting ten years for this queen anthology package to come out. what a joke. I hate queen now!

If you hate Queen, why come on this board and complain about it on here?

because queenzone is the only place i can go to vent.

Well, somehow I understand you. It really drives me mad at times because they don't release anything worthwhile anymore. Only leaves without figs and nothing more. But let's hope we see the release of Rainbow later this year.

After Q+AL tour is over, I can only hope Brian and Roger will focus on the Queen music.

I'm in total agreeance. Being a queen fan is incredibly frustrating. Brian in particular teases us with releases 'in the pipeline' and the news of a new album. We all get excited and then nothing ever materializes. Rainbow,Hammersmith, the lost opportunity with the extra tracks on the remastered albums in 2011. All we get is badgers and Kerry Ellis. Hardcore fans (not glambert fans) have had enough!!

They have mentioned putting together an album with whats-his-face after the tour.

Brian isn't a liar! How dare you say that?
And I'm not too thrilled with his concert activity with Lambert and Ellis, but this case i don't call him a liar.
I've got the power to love to live I can't say it ain't right

FFS, the guys can do what they want can't they? Why not continue playing with Ellis or whoever whilst they can?

I think you'll find it's nearer 20 years!!

To those that say Brian isn't a liar;

Many years ago: "My Albert Hall solo gig is coming out on video/DVD" - lie

Several years ago: "Hammersmith DVD is coming out this year" - lie

A couple of years ago: "Rainbow DVD is coming out this year year" - lie

Last year: "New Queen album with FM & MJ tracks will be out before Xmas" - lie

Yes, he may have been fully intending for these to be the case and so he wasn't intentionally misleading us, but with his/their track record he should really stop trying to be so specific and get people's hopes up. I would imagine that the new record company are quite happy to have a regular stream of new Queen releases (especially new material) to get back some of their outlay, and out of most bands I would say that Queen are one of the few that if they want to release something they can - it's really down to them and no one else.

I to agree that they don't 'owe' us anything and they don't have to release anything, but in that case then don't tell us you're going to!!

I think that they decided to release Hammersmith'75 in 2015, when it will be 40 years since the release of the album "a night at the Opera" and 40 years since they played a concert at the Hammersmith Odeon 24.12.1975.
Honestly I haven't heard that Brian was planned to release a solo concert at the Albert Hall on video.
What about Rainbow: I've heard that this gig will be released this year.
