I wouldn't call Brian a liar... If he states that something will be released before a centain date, I believe that (at that point) it was the intention to do so...

And yeah... from our (fans) point of view, it is maybe disappointing that some (lots) things are postponed, delayed, or won't happen at all...

I see some hate for the May / Ellis collaboration here and I'm not quite sure why. Their projects together are nothing to do with Queen, bar occasional covers during concerts. So, what exactly are you people saying - that because Freddie Mercury died Brian must never work with anyone else or do anything musically again? That's what is sounds like you're saying. I'm not mad for the Queen + AL collaboration, but the same thing kind of applies to this too. Freddie Mercury passed away twenty-two years ago, and this was tragic and a huge loss to world. But because of this many people believe that Brian and Roger should quit what they've been doing for the previous twenty years and stop playing songs which they wrote for a band which they started. Is that fair? Not really.
I would much rather see B & R perform with an established musician rather than a product of the reality TV world. But, in this day, that's the nearest to Queen you're going to get. Brian and Roger won't be around forever, so embrace the fact that part of Queen is still alive in your lifetime, because there will be new fans in thirty years time who won't be old enough to see any member of Queen live. And these future fans will be only too pleased if someone offered them a chance to go back and see just two members of the group play.

Yeah I hear ya. Only gruff is that this alleged boxed set has been delayed probably longer than CHINESE DEMOCRACY. (Yes, that p.o.s.) it seems like there won't be studio backing behind such a release and that it's unlikely to occur at this point.
I am however VERY grateful that they will Tour this year. I'm looking forward to it like a blessing at this point.

In light of the fact that Universal Music Group acquires Eagle Rock entertainment, I feel a vague doubt on account of this release.
Although I hope that this acquisition will not affect future releases from the Queen.
