This is fantastic news!
Was John Deacon there too?

In this picture of Brian and Roger people are telling him how they miss his father in the band. I would love to hear what he has to say about the appreciation John is getting.

To me this is the best news i could have because it means that they are still connected in a way. Even if John wasn´t at the theatre i´m pretty sure Brian and Roger talked to his family (this was invitation tickets, i assume).

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and i´m really looking forward to the unfolding of this, if it´s going to be one.

I miss John, and i would love for him to at least talk to the fans to let us know how he´s doing.

Roger sounds as fit as ever. I really have a good feeling about this upcoming tour.

Adam Lambert was at the venue too. Maybe they are already in rehearsals for the tour.

What on earth have they done to the song? It sounded soooo boring! Other than Brian's guitar solo and of course Roger on the drums.. But otherwise, totally snooze-worthy!

John wasn't there, it was just the kids. My daughter had a chat with Cameron and asked if his Dad (John) was coming only to be told No.

Is there any cover of "The Show Must Go On" that dosen't sound boring?
They all sound like musical theatre to me.
The track has Freddie all over combined with the passion of a dying man.
It's impossible to chanel its spirit.

By the way, after years and years of listening live covers of The Show Must Go On i come to think that the track has advanced studio artistry without that beeing so evident when listening to it.
I bet that even Queen kwnew that they could never reprodude its electricity live, and they didnt need too, due to the events of the time.

Deacon his childeren attended the show. There is no evidence Johm himself was there last saturday.

I'm confused. Is John retired from the music business or retired from life in general? Even if he doesn't want to perform with Queen, what's the harm in coming along to see the final We Will Rock You show? It's as if he's scared of the public and genuinely makes me wonder if he leaves the house much these days for fear of being recognised. OK, there is a chance he was otherwise engaged and really couldn't attend, but my guess was his absence was through choice.

Since the "strip club" incident he doesn't want to be recognised at all.
If we don't know what he looks like, the media and fans will leave him alone.
So no more public appearances for him. I don't expect we will ever see or hear anything from John.
