Rainbow SuperDeluxe box set for 34 pounds.

I got this message today from amazon.ca concerning my order:

As I never ordered from amazon.ca, does anybody know whether this means that they will have problems in getting it? Or do they just want to encourage people to cancel their order, because they made an offer we could not resist? :-)

It means it's taking longer than they expected. Could be sales exceeded expectations by far, which is not unlikely.

I think they've exceeded their initial stock allocation.
They've shipped MY deluxe set but I got 'that' email about the 2LP.
Bit pissed really as it means I'll get hit with two sets of customs fees :(

Same here, deluxe box set shipped today from amazon.ca but no mention of the 2 LP and 4LP which I've also ordered. I also ordered the super deluxe edition from amazon.co.uk which I got for £70.92, it arrived today in immaculate condition ........whuhooooooo.... (sorry I couldn't not wait for the on from .ca) . I'll keep the one from .ca sealed.

I got the e-mail too, this morning. Estimated date October 9 to October 23.

Actually Richard, I've ordered 2 of everything and with customs, it all comes in at the same price as paying for one of everything from the UK. I had, however, hoped to sell the 2nd set at Convention to pay for my sets, but I guess that's been pissed on now :(

I cancelled my amazon.ca order and ordered it from AllYourMusic on the UK Amazon site instead for £52 including delivery.

It's already been dispatched.

Cancelled the Super Deluxe boxset portion of my order and went to HMV instead to get it yesterday

Side note: Interesting that although it's a Hollywood Records release, the discs are the European Virgin EMI pressings. This must be a first for HR? :)
