Yeah the March recording is incredibly crisp sounding compared to the November recording(s).
Thanks!!!! Sounds great! Awesome release.

BTW, why are only 3 songs 'filmed' (on videotape) from the March show? Or was the full show recorded and lost or something?
Probably yes. Those where the only songs they could find for this release. I believe that they recorded the full concert on video, and edited these three songs for TV shows to promote the live album- Several televisions around te world have these videos, and that means that they have droped the live album very near it´s release. Why? i don´t know.

But in the end i think that the complete show was filmed, and had they found it, this release would be a different story, because for me the March show is the star of this release. November show is great too, but March show is magical Queen at their best.

Queen archivist Greg Brooks has confirmed that no other footage from this show exists, other than the two songs widely circulated.

He can only confirm that it doesn´t exist in the archives. Unless he knows what hapened, then he can´t say that it doesn´t exist for sure.
Rhys Thomas who is responsible for the Video archive never said it didn´t exist. He said that they could only track down these three tracks.

Listened to these samples 3 times already.
I'm ready for the release.

Can't wait to be honest. Been a long time since I was so looking forward to a Queen release / queen related event.

Thanks a lot!
I synced pieces of the concert video to the previews for my own enjoyment,

and it's evident that most of the lead vocals in the upcoming release are indeed live! It seems that more than half
the lead vocals on the old vhs were overdubbed. A great example of this is "Wanna try?" in Killer Queen in the first
seconds of the preview. Most of the backing vocals seems to be overdubbed still though.

Overdubbed, or just taken from the other night ? They had two nights of audio to work with but only one night of video (apparently).

Thanks for doing the synch work. It's wonderful to see how passionate (and quick) Queen fans can be in times like this !

Don't think so Bob. GT played some footage from the first night of Rainbow at Breakthru 2011, they have video from both nights.

They do *now*.

But when they did the original edit this apparently wasn't the case.

I think the lead vocals where studio overdubbed. The previews of White Queen, for example,
shows that Freddie was slightly out of tune at times and his voice cracked a bit. These are
typical reasons for overdubbing. The last part of Jailhouse Rock is not from the same show
in the preview as in the vhs (but the first part is). In all other parts of the show, at least the
instruments match audio wise. I would presume that the video on the vhs is from the other
night at the end of the song.
