I am not saying Adam is more talented overall than Freddie. I'm referring to this particular song.

Who the hell died and made you king????

Hell, I'm a Queen-diehard and I liked Paul singing TSMGO better than the original......(and Adams version is up there too......too bad we never had a Freddie live version of that song! That would have been something.....)

Just to show you there's no hard feelings, I'll even embed your video for you. Freddie's great. I just happen to enjoy Adam's beautiful voice on this particular song.

There is no doubt that both Freddie and Adam were/are master vocalists/entertainers/showmen with great charisma and stage presence. I'm not familiar with Paul Rodgers and haven't seen him in person so I can't judge him at all.

Good god, he can hit the notes but he has no soul or emotional heft behind his voice. Plus his over-emoting is off Broadway quality. Ridiculous.

^^^^^^ You put it perfectly! That is exactly how I feel. Technically Adam may be great, but there is no soul to his singing.

Adam sings with a great amount of soul and emotion or he wouldn't be getting the response from the audience that he has received when he is performing live! You can't have it both ways. You can't say there is no emotional heft behind his voice and that he is over-emoting. THAT is ridiculous! Listen to the audience response in unison when he sings "Who Wants To Live Forever." It's like a mass swoon! LOL

Audiences at live concerts tend to get over-enthusiastic... That is the nature of the beast.
Loads more swooning going on at Justin Beiber concerts... doesn't prove a thing.
Again, I do think Adam sings well. But Freddie is by far superior.

Fact its a damn sight better than the plodding Queen /Paul Rogers shows ,where no one looked very interested and it was more like a Bad Company show."
Depends on what you like in a singer. Paul Rodgers is a rock legend with a great voice and great repertoire of his own. I enjoyed the way he sang and interpreted the Queen songs. Personally I loved the Free/Bad Co. songs he did during the Q+PR tours. Paul has a great stage presence too. Very charismatic.

Far more interesting than this musical/broadway type of singer who doesn't write his own songs and became runner up on a talent show. He may have a nice vocal range but he sounds like a squirrel to me. Horrible vibrato too. Fake/insecure stage presence.

Paul Rodgers > Adam Lambert. Anytime.
Adam DOES write his own songs. Sounds like a squirrel, horrible vibrato, insecure stage presence? Were you there in person? Of course not because you wouldn't say those things if you were. People were blown away by this show and by Adam's vocal prowess! You need a new set of talking points because all of the old ones have been proven wrong by the thousands of people who enjoyed this 24-day tour!

LOL!

That song is terrible. Adam still sounds like a squirrel with a horrible vibrato.

By the way:

"Runnin" was written by Baker, Richard Colson / Thomas, Theron Makiel / Thomas, Timothy Jamahli / Samuels, Matthew Jehu / Williams, Tyler Mathew Carl / Singh, Jaswinder.

LOL! "Adam writes his own song"
Yes. In his dreams...
Wrong -- "Runnin'" was written by Adam Lambert, David Marshall, Fred Williams, Catt Gravitt, Robert Marvin with Adam as first writer.

Oh please, no comparisons to Bieber who lip syncs and doesn't sing live in his shows. If Adam were to show any more emotion when he sings live, he would be a puddle of goo on the stage! LOL

Anyone who thinks Adam doesn't show emotion, listen to him do The Show Must Go On!!
