I must say I lost any excitement I had for this album. I suspect it will be a distillation of "Deep Cuts" trilogy plus a few "new" recordings, mostly reworked versions of stuff we already heard before. My last hope is that Brian is keeping something secret from us and that there will be at least one more proper Queen track on it, not heard before in any shape or form. Otherwise, new version of "Love Kills" seems to be the highlight. I don't want to listen to Anita's take on "Let Me In", but I'm pretty sure we're entering "My Life Has Been Saved" territory here.

Let Me In (Your Heart Again) is a great little number. I'm looking forward to hearing Freddie's vocals on that one. Anyone know when it would've been recorded? [/QUOTE]

Los Angeles 1983, according to Brian.

Interesting, especially as I'm 100% sure Greg Brooks said he found it on the end of a "AKOM" session tape, at a convention in Prestatyn (2007?) and therefore dated it as '86.
Maybe it had been reworked then and dropped and that's why it was fresh in Brian's mind for the Anita album in '88?

The exciting thing about "Let me in..." for me is if the outro features those vocal adlibs that -some time ago- were presumed to be done by freddie.
aaaand if the guitar stays that annoying prominent for that song. i really hope for a GOOD production.
we'll see...
