I have a VHS/DVD Recorder Combo but I cannot seem to work out how to get the TV input into the Recorder :/
I'll have another go at it.

It should certainly be possible. Do you have Sky Arts HD as part of a SKY or Virgin Media package?

I do have that I believe.
I've also just thoroughly read the manual for my VHS/DVD Recorder and discovered something that I'll try soon, see the attached PDF below (specifically on pages 25-29).
I'm kind of a noob with video/audio on the technical side, does that mean I can just plug an S-Video or Component cables straight from my TV to the system or plug in a VHS capture box which I have lying around? Here's the VHS to PC box I have: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/vhs-to-dvd-converter-for-pc-and-mac-a83qb
Also is S-Video better quality than the component?

It depends what outputs your sky / virgin media box has. Scart outputs are at best RGB, then s-video, and lastly composite. HDMI and component signals will not be accepted by your combo unit so the best you can hope for is RGB.

No problem, let me know how you get on or if you have any more questions.

Shit, I thought we had Sky Arts, we don't :/
Is there any other way to watch it online perhaps (other than On Demand)?
Here's the TV guide page for the programme: http://www.tvguide.co.uk/m-detail/165992/128515794/queenlive-in-milton-keynes

Anyone who is currently a Sky TV user can watch it online here with On Demand:
Far better if someone can record the HD broadcast, and hopefully somebody on QZ has the ability to do that on Friday. The Sky Arts HD channel is 121 on a sky box and the the SD channel is on 223.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my box to record even using your advise :(
