Let's hope for Hammer '75 DVD/Blu-ray + CD or Box-set of 75-77 Era in the near future. Do they have nice audio records of early gigs in London 75? There will be a good stuff for several CD's in Hammy Box-set.

Logical hammy'75, but possibly for QPL release Hammy'75 is too short concert. Even with CD version is too short.

it's no worse than the Milton Keynes video, which is actually marred by strange marks on one of the main camera feeds and Hot Space material!
... and the QZ post of the month goes to ........ !
Seriously, well played.

Hammy '75 is great but way too short: they didn't film the last two songs Seven Seas of Rhye and See What A Fool Ive Been. Plus, it is not too different from Rainbow '74.
Hammy '79 would be awesome. Does someone know if they have it in full? So full video and multi-track audio?

The real problem with EC77 is due to it's audio not the picture quality. Though it was filmed with only 2 camera's from the video feed , they don;t have the seperate camera angels. Sometimes the camera's film out of focus, or go black for a few seconds.

I believe Greg has said in a recent Q&A that Hammersmith, Hyde Park, Earls Court & Houston are not suitable for a stand alone release but possibly in some sort of box set compilation. Lots of '79 stuff available which is favoured for the next 70s release
Rhys Thomas said Houston was filmed and is suitable for a Bluray release. Opposite information coming from close men of the band.

Hmmm they have the extra shots from Harris. But what they don;t have is the audio multitrack.

Well. They could include the Golders Green from 1973 :-) Just to give some more. And then at last the Hyde Park show also in the same boxset. Offcourse it would be a big surprise if they could find the recording of the Marquee 1972 :-)
Then for the Next release we could have the later 70's stuff like Houston and Crazy Tour. That would be great.

Hammersmith boxset would be nice. They should think it over, after the good response they've got with Rainbow. If the 75' concert is too short they could release a 2 dvd set including
Hammersmith 75' and Hammersmith 79' and, since i heard couple of times they dont have the mutitrack of hammy 79' they could at least release it as a bonus dvd but also include a cd With Hammy 75'.
That would sell quite well, and would be very well welcomed by fans, since you have classic songs from Queen's early days on Hammy 75', and you have several well known hits on Hammy 79',

Queen's crazy tour 79 was a great tour as i was there and it would be nice if certain songs were included at different venues like "Save me" from newcastle city hall etc.......
i also support fans who want hyde park 76 released because with technology today someone must be able
to make a decent release of this show right?
i am very pleased with the Rainbow release and have a hunger for more 70s Queen!

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that they have the video masters but not the audio multitracks. Why the hell they couldn't just release a nice mix from the existing stereo audio they do have, I don't know (well, I do - they can't overdub anything that Brian or his audio team consider 'not up to scratch' easily....)

I would like to observe the chronology, and want to see as next release Hammersmith '75. Then it would be great to see Hyde Park, Earls Court and Houston. I don't want to miss a few years and see as release Hammer '79 - it's a great show, but 3 previous concert is important for me at the moment. Of course we can not influence the decision of QPL, but must make it clear that we want to see all Queen concerts recorded on video, desirable chronologically from 75 and further. I will be insanely happy and would pay any price if they wil release Box-Set with Hammer, Hyde Park, Earls Court and Houston - the main era of 70s would be disclosed, except Crazy Tour 1979 which can be release separately.

My opinion is:
2015 - Hammersmith 1975 + Hammersmith 1979.
2016 - Hyde Park 1976 (first) and Knebworth 1986 (last).
2017 - Houston 1977. As i know by a friend, Earls Court could not be released easily because BBC have the rights.

I'd like Hyde Park the most, because it's in such bad quality today. The other gigs are already out there and sounding decent.

That would be great indeed!
Hope QPL take in to account what we say here
