Quoted from there: " [•••]Queen present Forever, an exciting album featuring three brand new Queen tracks, including the long-anticipated track by Queen and Michael Jackson, "There Must Be More To Life Than This". [•••]"

Brian actually said it would be called Queen Forever.

Really like the new Queen track though, the "Let Me In" one. I can't tell whether or not I'd have liked it or not if it was something we'd all been hearing for the past two decades or not, but it's such a nice thing to hear a song for the first time.[/QUOTE]
Zebonka, really ? One can hate synths and the drum sound but non-autotuned and properly mixed vocals have its impact on the original FM solo version. Besides it is one of the tracks that really stands out from the whole Mr Bad Guy album and the song has a powerful message. One could expect an outstanding job from the guy who is paid to do his part properly and promotes himself via Facebook and twitter so people can see how great producer he is. Well, the track proved otherwise.
Thanks to Mr Orbit, we can now appreciate how GOOD is the original version of There Must Be More To Life Than This". It'd be great to know how Brian's mix sounds as it probably is the closest thing to the original ending of The Works album (considering it would have been finished back in 1984).

Mr. Orbit was hired to make heros out of Baker,Mack, Richards...:)

I listened to the 3 tracks on BBC2 at midnight my time. I was very excited at first, but then extremely disappointed when I saw the track listings. Why didn't they release a full album of previously unreleased material? The 33 other tracks have all been issued before, some more than once. This is a ripoff. I absolutely love Queen, but Brian & Roger need to show a little more respect for their longtime loyal fans. C'mon guys, greed is causing enough problems in this world--don't keep being a part of it.

I was never a huge nitpicker despite some "flat mixed products"...
Anyway...it`s a clusterfucked situation right now.

Just had a listen with headphones.
Love Kills ... kinda redundant. Takes away all the best elements from the original, apart from Freddie's great voice of course.
These should really just be called remixes, shouldn't they?
So, Love Kills. Nice, but so what?
Now... Haha. The Jackson duet. Now, there wasn't much to play with originally, but deary me... Their voices are like chalk and cheese.
Maybe they should call the album that.
Maybe I'm just old and fat and jaded now, but is this a joke?
This is cut and paste, timestretched and autotuned beyond belief. This is a bad couple of weekends in a studio surely.
Forget Thriller. THIS is ghoulish.
No way would Fred or MJ have wanted this released into the wild unless it was perfect... a word they both used a lot. This is rrrrrubbish.
Now... the better stuff.
Let Me In Your Heart Again...
Not the most original of titles.
And isn't it great to hear Fred singing something that sounds fresh? Well... not fresh... well preserved?
The song is wishy washy but Fred does an excellent job. The backing is... okay. A bit cut and paste again. There are a couple of notes in there that made me go "Wow!" for all the wrong reasons. Brian's solo sounds weirdly uninspired. There's no sense of that great melodicist still being in existence. That's not to knock him... but I'd rather just hear the untouched demos.
This is all a bit silly now.
Roger plays drums ok.
John adds nice bass.
Freddie is the boss...
And Brian is being Brian.
Just bring a damn anthology out already.

Great post forum, couldn't have put it better, officially open the Queen archive and let the Queen fans do remixes and finish unreleased tracks, then Bri and Rog see how it should be done ! Never was pro tools so badly used as on these tracks. I seriously believe Brian & Roger don't care anymore ! But guess what ? WE DO !!!! Rip off album ! Again !!!!!!!!!

I like the three songs just because it's something a bit new etc maybe Brian and Roger were hoping to include all the Jackson and Freddie demos as we all know the MJ estate are obsessed with cash, I'm puzzled at why would Brian and Roger played those new songs so early before the release in November when that was the only thing they had to sell this album as that dodgy tracklisting is terrible, possibly there trying to introduce a younger audience to there albums as opposed to there Greatest Hits. To me it sounds like Freddies vocals have been pushed back so Jacksons voice can shine. Like others have said the magic has long gone with regards to Brian and Roger in the studio it's a lazy album.
