The '1979' footage at 2:09 is actually '77 notw tour rehearsal footage recorded at Sheperton studios by good old Bob Harris.
I lie somewhere betwixt disbelief, nausea, an increasingly escalating distaste of "Vox" sounds on synths and a strong opinion that Mr Orbit got far too much money. Nice video though.

Folks - this may indeed mean that they have an entire 1984 show on video in the vault, and it's one of the best latter day Queen shows with the only known pro footage of them doing Great King Rat. This is f&cking monumental.
Wow, nice. I do love that show, it's pretty much the pinnacle of The Works tour.

Right, I find it to be a great video for a very good remix. Maybe you guys were expecting something closer to the original?
I think this will sound quite current for many youngsters. I listen to a LOT of BBC Radio 1 for fun for the past few years and this seems to be aimed at the current pop listeners. Mind you, I'm over 40 :)
As someone said above, cheer up, it's just a remix. We still have the wonderful original.

Love the video, hate the remix, but if this becomes popular, the record company might push for more unreleased material!

i quite like the remix. not better - but it is different. And, you can see (hear) what he is done.

@The Real Wizard Thanks for confirming this bit as being taken from Somebody To Love. I wonder why the flying duck haven't they released it. It fulfils Queen Prod. requirements for release: Freddie with a stache, the hits were played that night. Maybe it was dug up out of the archives recently, but if it was indeed made by Rhys Thomas then it could mean that the material was meant to be included in the 2011 Days of Our Lives documentary.

Question is how many cameras were shooting, how many footage has been shoot and how many footage remain in the vaults.
But even a few songs would be priceless with a proper sound and HD video.

As I said, I think Orbit's LMIYHA Remix is a good one.
Let me give you guys an example of a bad remix. I like Dubstep and I can live with some hip hop and all, but the following is not a good remix. It makes the song current, but not in a good way:
Queen - We Will Rock You (Dean Cohen Remix): http://youtu.be/1hef43CuCV8

Just heard the william orbit mix of "let me in your heart again" and to be honest it does not work.
It is badly edited and a mess.
mixing dance music with a Queen classic like that is criminal in my mind. That track deserves more respect.
Still the money raised is for a good cause.
Queen could have made an extended version themselves
and let us have more guitar licks and more freddie vocals.
william orbit is dangerous!

And yet very Typical of queen to regard the concert as something Unwanted but display a remix like it's the return of jesus.

It's kinda growing on me. But... that last part where Freddie and the backing is out of tune with one another or whatever. That makes me cringe.
Yup. Just awful. He has a G in the melody over a D chord. I can't believe this is the same person who produced Madonna's brilliant Ray Of Light. How amateurish.
I was actually doing alright until that moment.

I'd like to edit it myself so it fades out just before Freddie and the backing are out of tune. Aside from that, I'm okay with it really.

My 15 year old daughter, who has heard the right version of the song, wondered when T-Pain was going to sing...
Truthfully, it's not bad, it's just that the end is so dissonant. As a musician myself, the last minute hurts my ears.
Edit the song down to 4 and half minutes, and that version would get airplay all across the US.
